Which Nagesh Kukunoor film do you like the best
by P. Mishra on Jan 17, 2008 02:51 AM

The replies to this topic itself reflects how good all the movies by Nagesh are. every other person has accepted that his movies comes with great packages showing the reality and creativity, not just a movie of the theme containing so called "romance", "violence" or some unusual things. All his movies are "watch to the end" type. Dor is just excellent. He perfectly knows how to extract and use ( "utilize" rather) the caliber of the actors and actress.

Bollywood calling
by Rakesh on Jan 17, 2008 01:11 AM

I liked all his movies, but they sort of left me with 'could have been better' feeling. Iqbal is slow and the same old under dog's triumph...Dor is too much 'feel good' in the end...Teen deewarein is awesone, but for its unconvincing ending, really doesn't have the shock value it was probably intended to have. I am going with Bollywood calling...

yusuf makrani
a truly original storyteller

nagesh is one of the most orginal directors around, i feel he doesnt follow a special kind of cinema, he tries everything once. and his movies arent in your face- they are subtle yet create an impact.
i loved teen deewarein, dor and iqbal( in that order)
