Ajay Devgan has it in him, all the intensity in the world. Every actor needs to evolve to bring his best (provided he is an actor). Lets see his performances... Pyar toh hona hi tha - romantic Zakhm- troubled personality, intense performance Hum dil de chuke sanam - intense again Company- do i need to comment The legend of bhagat singh Deewangi- split personality character Gangajal- serious and intense Khaki- negative character Yuva Raincoat Apaharan Golmaal- comedy Omkara
Well, pyar toh hona hi tha came in 1998...since then...he has been consistent with performances. Barring Aamir Khan, i do not think anyone else has such a list to put against his name....that says it all........guys, dont even think about bringing SRK near him.....he has only Swadesh and Chak de where he did anything near to act.. those yash chopra and karan johar crap are not even worth mentioning.....so the list says it all i guess.
Ajay Devgan over the years have shown that he is really a very talented actor. The biggest quality he has is his essaying of roles. He was marvellous in Gangajal, Apaharan, Deewangee, Lajja, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and so on. The kind of directors he has worked with e.g. Raj Kumar Santoshi, Ram Gopal Verma, Vishal Bharadwaj, Prakash Jha is a proof that they all value him & recognise his talent. The another quality Ajay has is his non-controversial personality. Yes it is true that he may not be able to give us a smashit movie like Chak De India or DDLJ, but the kind of performances he has given over the years has proved it beyond doubt that he is a versatile actor. If one wants to see him in full flow, they can watch Omkara, Company, Deewangee, Gangajal and others. Keep it up Ajay! We want to see you in many memorable peformances in coming years.May God bless you and thanks for entertaining us over the years. People generally say I am your fan, but you can call me your AC as the competition has really hotted up in Bollywood. Regards, Yash, Ghaziabad
i am a great fan of ajay devgan. he is really a great actor and nice human.i really like his gangajal, apharan, hddcs. he always play a chracter of daily life the good thing of acting of devgan is when we watch the movie we always see that chracter which he played. we never feel that he is devgan but in case of shahrukh we watch only srk in largetr than life role.which no mean in real life i am despretely waiting this movie halla bol. in this movie a great actor pankaj kapoor is also acting. who is always put him self in chracter.
Ajay may not have got his due as he is not a part of any bollywood camp(one camp for e.g. is the great SRK, Farah,Sajid Khan,Karan Johar who can keep talking abiut themselves on and on..), but he is surely an actor to reckon with.. In his profession and work he can be beaten only by Aamir.. No actor(other than Aamir) can even come close to him. He is truly a character actor in the sense that he would get under the skin of character and make his viewers believe that he is the character.. His Omkara and many other movies will remain the gems of bollywood movies, movie which can be seen and appreciated by any serious movie goer.. Wish him all the success that he truly deserves and which he will get through his films and not through media praising.. As far as old Asoka is concerned everybody knows why the movie flopped.. A simple reason of SRK remaining SRK and not being Asoka, also SRK can do only light romantic movies and will never be successful without his camp..(Chak de being exception but the success is because its not wholly SRK movie, same for Swades)
