Ajay voice and expression of his eyes and his hair style, he make his style aboutthe character of the film, how can we forget Apharan, he should do only serious and Negative role only
ajay has to go miles before he could come to the league of amitabh, paresh ravel, mohanlal and kamal. but fact remains that he has grown laterally as an actor as well as a human being. this guy seems to be dedicated to improve. another actor who has improved drastically is akshay.
Ajay has the same morose expression for everything. Kind of constipated. And when he overacts its unbearable..Check out the Hindi remake of I am Sam where he played a mentally challenged character... He is good in roles where he just has to brood, say a line or two and brood again.. What is surprising is that he never made it as an action hero, despite having some great action hits at the start of his career ( Phool aur Kante, even Jigar and Vijaypath had great action). I think the real discovery has been Akshay Kumar who progressed from Z graders ( Saughand, Mr. Bond (He He)to entertaining B graders ( Khiladi series) to hardcore action (Mohra) to being the best comic entertainer after Govinda

The worst of Ajay Devgan was when we saw him acting i alongside AAMIR in ISHQ , man!!! Ajay looked like a MONKEY in front of cutie pie/ sexy / chocolate AAMIR. I hope he dose'nt tries his hand at comedy ever again .

Mate, learn how to analyse cinema and Actor Performance first. Ajay Devgan is 2 time National Award Winner and many appreciations for his talent these days. How can you simply say that Ajay is limited? ISHQ came in way back in early 90's we're in 2008 and other Actors might not cahnged from stearotype of action but Ajay moved ahead and changed lot in his acting skills. Thats True. Ajay Devgan is one of the finest Actor in the Indian Movie world. He is powerhouse of talent and his acting skills remembers me watching Kevin Costner's "Dancing with Wolves". No doubt he is one of the serious and talented actor, this prooves his talent...all the good directors from Govind Nihlani, Rajkumar Santhoshi, Vishal Bardwaj, RGV, Praksh Jha ec made movies with him. He is not a mediocre actor like SRK who always plays crap love stories and big banners like yash Raj, no difference in all of his movies. Compare to SRK's overdose and same histrincs, Ajay Devgan is just fine and versatile actor. He is good in comedy movie Golmol too. What a brilliant perfomrance in Omkara, Gangajal, Company and Bhagat Singh. I can't even think of SRk come even near to Ajay's brilliant on screen performance.

i completely agree with you. Compared to Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan is several notches ahead in terms of acting. I think that after Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan is the only Hindi actor who has grown as a performer. Hats of to him
