its all blue screen effects that they must be using . and everyone will give the same answer........

"FOR THIS STUNT, WE INVITED SPECIAL EFFECTS EXPERTS FROM HOLLYWOOD.THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THE SPECIAL EFFECTS FOR 'THE MATRIX' AND 'JURASSIC PARK'"

and then they will churn out AMAZING special effects like "JAANI DUSHMAN- EK ANOKHI KAHANI" AND "KRRRISH"

It is very rare to find a Body double for SAIF
by m s ganesh on Jan 03, 2008 07:25 PM

And Saif has done a daring action sequence himself, instead of using a body double. He jumped from a 22 stories building not once or twice, but thrice for a perfect shot.

What nonsense is this??

Rediff.com and Saif are made for each other
by m s ganesh on Jan 03, 2008 07:24 PM

Rediff chooses articles from Authors who are look alike Saif's neither men nor women. Pls stop this no sense. One thing is true it is very hard to find a look alike SAIF in India.
He is a rare man

simply impossible
by sameer bhagwat on Jan 03, 2008 07:17 PM

it is not difficult but impossible to beleive that saif would even dare to do this. rediff allows itself to be misused for cheap publicicty stunts like this.

Not a rediff staff

I am not a rediff staff to believe this story. This is possible only in some other planets smaller than earth. Lets assume that the height of each floor is 5mtrs(too small, but assume) total height is 110 mtrs. The speed at which he will reach the ground floor or the net in the ground floor will be around 167 km per hour (v equal to rootof(2gs), g is gravitational acceleration 9.8 mtr per second and s is 110 mtr for 22 floored building). Just put your hands out of the window from a car moving with more than 100 km per hour, then you will understand how mcuh safe is saif. He will get burned in the middle of the jump due to the air resistance. How can I believe that saif will take such a huge risk when there is enough technology to simulate this? If you believe this, Join Rediff immediately. The are recruiting FOOLS.

He is not a meteorite.... Then all parachute jumpers would get burned up the same way and we would get to c a fireworks display everytime this is done...

Just look at the photograph.... When he jumps, his Jacket and hair should be blown upwards, but here they are intact and also in thephotograph it seems that Saif is stamping something... Its clearly computer trick, nothing else.

Rediff not only fabricates these stories but also fabricates a lot of stories against other countries specially PAKISTAN which is why I show up regularly and refute the stories.

your analysis lacks clarity & logic. If someone who jumps from 110m high burn in the middle by air resistance, what about the people who does bungee jumping from 220m? Saif jumped using ropes, which they don't disclose. You can see from the picture that he is in standing pose, which is unrealistic. Please calculate properly what speed required to burn the body.

I agree with your calculation

but how a person will get burnt??

I seen some daredevil stunt video where he jumps from a height more 22 floor building
into a air cushion he did turned in to tandoori?? He was safe.....

Hello netizen... you are the biggest fool!!! First of all your calculations are wrong. Height of one floor will not go more than 3.5mts. Then 22 floors = 22x3.5=77m.

Second foolishness... an object travel through earth's atmosphere with a speed of 167km/hr will never get burned due to air resistance! hehehehhe. If an object burn at this speed, all vehicles travel in big highways like gulf countries would have burned!!! There sometimes some vehicles go beyond 200km/hr. An aircraft travels above 900km/hr. A fighter jet travels above 2000km/hr! They are not getting burned. Then how only saif?
Now think what a big fool you are.

OK. lets assume the height is 77m. then what is the speed? it is around 140km per hour. Is it possible OK to expose your skin to air at this speed?
I am not telling nothing can travel at this speed. I am just telling that normal materials like human skin will get burned. next time when you travel in a car at 100 km/hr, put your hands out and try to say Hi to a pedestrian. You will under stand it well.
To travel at more speed, you have to design the vehicle properly. What will happen if you drive a maruthi 800 at 100 km per hour? it will start jerking because of air resistance. It is not designed to over come this barrier. Other vehicles such as Jet are designed with special materials which will not get burn easily and will control the air flow to minimize the air resistance. Even the shuttle Nasa's Columbia had a limit to its speed while entering to earths atmosphere.

Anyway nothing will happen to your skin if you expose it to an airflow of 200km/hr.

wonderful analysis... but just a small correction to the data.. the height of a standard floor in a building is not more than 3.5 mts. It can go upto 5 mts is exceptional cases but in no way thisis too small like you mentioned :) nevertheless i don't think even a trained stuntman would dare perform this feat leave alone saif.. he is better with girls in his arms lol..
