the demise of Mr.Sujatha, is a great loss for any good tamil reader.... he is a mixture of literature, science fiction and his characters GANESH AND VASANTH will live longer and longer... his articles in vikatan, and stories like JUNO are great .... he will be remembered long for all he has done... he had been a nice dialogue writer in the film industry too... his VIKRAM and PRIYA for kamal and rajini respectively are wonderfull ones...
Though I am avid reader; I have very little knowledge about the writers from regional languages. However, when I read this posthumous article I am really awed by this versatile writer and multifaceted personality. Has his books been translated in English? It's certainly great loss of literary world.

Why ask proof from this bigots? It is very simple; sujatha was a Brahmin! The maxim popularised by Dravidian parties goes like this: "if you see a snake and Brahmin, spare the reptile and kill the man!". It is the socio-political culture of Tamil Nadu!
RE:was he brahmin? anyone know?

at this juncture please donot mess up with the religion or caste. only look at his contribution to the tamil society.
His death is a loss not only to the tamil literary world but to all humans. I always used to wonder at his memory capacity and through his writings I came to understand many intricacies of science. Now what will happen to Ganesh & Vasanth?
sujatha is a great writer.he is a role model for many of the tamil writers today.wat a fluent and free flowing tamil he uses in his novels.its a great loss to tamil literature.
my heartfelt deep condolescense to him.may his sole rest in peace
Very recently only I had mailed him for a speedy recovery from his ailments. But GOD's wishes is different. Since the age of 10 I am a fan of Sujatha Novels, Storyies. Even at the age of 45 I am proud to say that I am the fan of Sujatha. Even a less educated person also understand his stories about Sci-fi. Hope Ganesh & Vasanth and "Oviyar"Jayaraj will be in great loss and the vacant space created by him will not be filled up by anybody else. What a great writer. My deep condolences to his family.
