It's a damn good movie. The one who didn't like this movie, I think they don't have the proper understanding of watching a historical movie. The dislikers of the movie has no right to watch any movie again. They are just a fool. AG has performed damn good. Hrithik's performance is outstanding too. A. R. Rahman and Aishwarya are praised worthy. Hrithik and Aishwarya look fantabulous together. They are the best couple on-screen. I have watch this movie 3 times. And I felt like watching again. Thanks AG, Hrithik and Aishwarya for creating a wonderful movie.
For the past few days i am hearing so much good about JA, which tempted me to go for it yesterday.... but all the praises i heard is too much for the film....the film is not deserving so much of raiting.....its overrated on this message board
The nonly reason why Jodha Akbar (JA) is doing good at the box office is because it is getting a clean run - no competition. It is likely that in the coming weeks, there will be no other big film release happening and hence it only adds JA's advantage.
As for the movie, it's hardly anything good. I'm asking producers to return the money we spent to watch the movie (around Rs.1,000). The time anyway is gone but the money should be repaid by them. Just watch Prithviraj Kapoor as Akbar in Mughal-e-azam and compare him to Hrithik's acting. Hrithik's acting is puny/negligible in comparison to Prithviraj Kapoor's.... That when Hrithik keeps throwing tantrums in the name of perfection-ism.
JA is a masterpiece. GO WATCH IT FRIENDS Hrithik is exceptional. SRK will win all awards for OSO(2007) Hrithik will win all awards for JA(2008) But Hrithik's performance is much better than SRK's.

Really heart touching.HR acting is superb.I am planning to go for the movie once more.This is the best movie ever made in india. Thanks to AG for making such a good movie

Ah, how do you define good? This shows that you guys hardly watch the real good stuff ...
I not watch hindifilm so often not a big fan also.. but for tis movie.. i went to watch it two times... really great movie... ah and hritik make a good pair on screen the story tells its beauty the song marvelous.. and acting briliant great direction ... really touch by the movie.. so romantic.. support JODHA AKBAR.. dun support piracy.. watch it in theatre... god bless India :)
movie is great....a simple love story with lots of grandeur and royalty around....hrithik looks awesome...after KNPH its in JA that he has looked so damn handsome... and most importantly it spreads a message of secularism....the use of language in the movie is great....the real charm of pure hindi and pure urdu.....on one side u have mann mohana song in worship of lord krishna and on the other u have khwajaji a beautiful sufi devotional song.... I wish every person in india develop this kind of respect for each other's religion and culture...like what akbar and jodha did...
