Balaji telefilms & Ekta Kapoor both should be banned if we don't want to spoil our next generation as all these non sense serials are spreading wrong message towards the society.
Actually, this is the case with all 'bonded' labour. In spite of there being a ban on bonded labour, Indian companies, even TCS and infy, have bonds.
In certain companies, if you are sent abroad for x months, you have to stay for 2x months more after returning to india.
This may SOUND fair - BUT - the implications are elsewhere. During the period that the bond is effective, the employee is usually taken for granted because the company knows he cannot leave. Thus, he can be exploited by giving him menial jobs that he is not suited for. Further, during the appraisals, he may be given a raw deal (bad rating bad hike) although he might have worked well during the year - this may be to retain another employee by giving him a huge raise (knowing that our bonded guy cannot leave - so no need to retain him, no need to give him hike).
The govt should totally ban such practices of bonded labour OR ask the employer also to sign a similar bond. As it is, all employment agreements are signed in favour of the employer along with the condition that the provisions in the agreement can be changed at will without prior notice.

These bonds cannot be defended in court as they are illegal ... thats why these companies make you pay the bond money initially which is returned to you on completion of the bonded term ... for every law, the lawyers know how to get around it ... thats why I hate lawyers
how come all of you say the same things bur never come on the big screen. I would be so good to see you all drama baaz with the greatest of you all ... yes oh so cute SRK with super duper abs ... that will be the day I will die qout of unbearable pain in my rear
Well done man, dont be worried, there is no bond system in this country, She can't behave with her actors as bonded labours,
U r free now n do some meaningful acting not like this production house making serials on family issues playing with sentiments for their own interest, making fool of innocent audience.
Work hard, no body can stop you from reaching your goal,
My question is whether any contract which binds a person not to work else where, is good in the eyes of law? Does it not fall under Restricted Trade Practices?

But you can get divorce if your partner is not satisfying you. That was not happening in this case. The partner was not satisfying and the divorce was also not coming. That is definitely unfair.

yes in a recent court ruling a company can keep clause that restricts you from working with the same skills with a competitor.
