Ranjit Bhattacharjee
Ghajini- Uber entertainer
by Ranjit Bhattacharjee on Dec 30, 2008 06:28 PM

I cannot but disagee with Raja Sen about Aamir _ Asin romance getting in the way. In fact, on the contrary , the romance is frothy, pure and touching and is vital to understand Aamir's angry transformation. It's a great movie and one , especially a critic should be flexible enough to judge the movie for what it is and not the same yardstick with which one has judged 'Taare Jameen Paar' or 'Rang De Basanti'.

Ghajini is a SUPER DUPER HIT
by knight on Dec 30, 2008 02:59 PM

Ghajini Has Stupendous Monday
Ghajini has done huge business on the dreaded Monday. The film has seen rock steady business all over. The collections were only 25% lower than Friday and even amazingly less than 50% lower than its Sunday collection.

The film has now grossed around 50 crore nett in just five days and is definitely the biggest blockbuster of the multiplex era beating films like Dhoom 2, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Om Shanti Om and Krissh.

The next two weeks will tell if it will be that legendary hit and join the likes of Gadar, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Sholay.

Movie Link Missing
by ashish g on Dec 30, 2008 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

Watched the movie yesterday, Only those who have watched may read further (And those who have not may save this remark for commenting after seeing the movie) :

After Amir's injury and resultant Amnesia, how and from where did he first collected all resources/possessions/ things which enabled him fight back ? B4 you say anything, be reminded that he only gets aggrieved and revengeful after seeing his possessions and never before seeing them.
Even if he has a subconscious memory of the injury, how he started with his Revenge even with a single memory which remains for 15min. only.

Director, wake up from you Amnesia.
