Whatever you say Hindi people have poor technology in their films
by BIMARI on Dec 23, 2008 01:07 PM  | Hide replies

They copy all good films from South India, take away our Music directors, directors, editors, photographers and beg us for copy rights all the time.

And over that they love looks and dont expect good acting from their heroes.

Hindi movies r always technically more sound than South ones....They r more glossy, more slick and larger than life as opposed to South ones whr everything seems very ordinary and commonplace....

And thank God that there aren't many moustachiod fat men playing heroes in north, like they are doing down south....

There are wonderful actors on north who act well and look god also...

40 ones like Akshay and SRK still look slim and trim....even older ones like Anil kapoor and Amitabh have maintaned their bodies well.....

Movies is not only acting but abt entire packaging....any roadside auto-rickshaw driver or vegetable seller person cannot become hero-heroine...

They shd act well, plus look attractive and well groomed and stylish and have charming personality.....

Thts wat makes them stars!!

Let all the Hindi Heroes be dam smart, how many best actor awards have they achieved, the total would definitely not be more than 20% of Tamil and Malayalam actors

As it is all awards are chosen by a panel based on whims and fancies of a small group of ppl....they can always be biased and rigged by ppl voting fr their favourites....

Main thing tht counts is how much ppl like a star.....
And no one I know, wants to watch a star, who looks like a road side person.....Movies is as much abt glamour as much as it is abt making gud movies...both go hand in hand.....

In case if didn't notice, the filmfare awards ar also rigged since the judges choose the actors first nd present them in the final nominee list. Thn you gys get to vote for them.

If the actor ar awarded by their fans like you, then ther wud be no need of judges to make a final 4-5 nominee list.

Pls dont try and act holier than thou after "Oh So Talented" south film makers cheat and copy stories like Ghajini frm English movies...

As far as I;m concerned for entertainment, glamore, good acting, technical prowess and creativity the only 2 options are BOLLYWOOD and HOLLYWOOD!!

As far as I'm concerned Kolly...Molly....Polly woods are non-existent!!

Dude, have u watched the movies tht won oscars recently. They ar all not superman, spiderman, batman or james bond wher its all about special effects nd entertainment.

The movies tht have won have historical theme to it, a diseased base movies, political based nd so on. Nothing extravagant is shown in those kind of movies, only an excellent story is shown.

Who said hollywood as good acting at its forefront. The good acting comes from good characters from good story from good directors running the movie. Oscars always choose the best character not the best actor. Obviously the actor is the one portrayin the charcter, so he gets to hold the award. Bt otherwise the judgemnt is basd on good charactrs.

Bollywood has no good story to tell so mira nair, deepa mehta, satyajit ray, santosh sivan, rakesh mehra, south directors have won awards at cannes nd hav multiple praises in film festivals for their common places nd ordinary situations.

Compare majority of bollywood to this is nothing since only thing bollywood offrs is tourism promotions, make up, nd good clothes.

Its actually sad to think tht a person like u exists india who thinks tht the rest of country is non existent excpt parts of the country.

Jeez ur such a racist man.

It just shows how ignorant you are. Do you know that Hollywood steals stories from other industries such as the Spanish and the Portugese? Just because Hollywood is more popular, it doesn't mean they are the best. And do you know that the creatively best movies are usually from lesser known nations such as Iran and Korea? Likewise, the popularity of Bollywood in India doesn't mean that they are the best. I have seen several movies from all four south Indian languages plus innumerable Bollywood movies. Give your prejudiced mind a rest and watch some quality south Indian movies and then try to be a judge.

SRK has played a very ordinary and simple man beautifully in ab Ne Bana Di Jodi and also in Chak De....

Nana Patekar is a great actor in his own right....but as far as I knwo he isnt Tamil...:)

Viewers can expect good stories since tht wht keeps the movie goin, nd most important diverse subjects nd characters.

Acting skill is reserved for judges not for viewers, nd glamour nd charm is reserved for people who want to be like them with all the shabang nd the bling.

Bollywood is always a one man show based on star value nd pleasin of indian audiences as if the audiences ar drooling over them. No wonder india displays a idol worship in the craziest way.

Movies in south India are generally made for the male audience unlike Bollywood. So people dont really care if the hero looks like an autorickshaw driver. Moreover several south Indian movies are centred on goons and the actor's look has to be rugged and not chic. Now the north Indian media says that Ghajini is the most violent film of recent times even after deleting three scenes which the south Indian cine goers appreciated. Let me remind you that the tamil version of Ghajini was not even considered a violent film. Thats because there are several other superhit movies in south with more gory scenes than what Ghajini had. With the emergence of SRK and his closet buddy karan Johar, Hindi audience have been taken for a ride in the past decade and half. Bollywood doesn't make movies for men anymore and thats why there's so much fuss around Ghajini. Let it be a smash hit at the BO and set new standards in Bollywood. And if Sanjay Dutt hadn't been in the mess that he has been for the past 15 years, Bollywood might have had a great Superstar and more masculine movies.
