Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has emerged the biggest hit of the year with excellent business on its second Saturday and extraordinary business on its second Sunday. In fact the business on the second Sunday was on par with its business on its first day of over 7 crore.
The business on Sunday was just 25-30% lower than its extraordinary first Sunday. The business of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is around 15-16 crore over its second weekend taking its ten day total to 56-57 crore. The second week should add another 5-6 crore until Ghajini arrives on Thursday and if Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi can perform well at the boxoffice from thereon then it could touch 80 crore nett business.

Good achievement, but there are far more deserving people than srk in india alone. SRK being powerfull does'nt mean that he is greater than Sachin tendulkar, amithab bachan, lata mangeshkar, vishwanatan anand, A.P.J. kalam. These people are far ahead of him both in achievements and they are also humble. Whereas SRK keeps blowing his own trumphet and also pays a lot of people to do that job.

read my post carefully, i said it's a good achievement. But just becoz he is in the top 50 most powerfull people of the world does'nt make him greater than the personalities i've mentioned. Power of a celebrity depends on the the visiblity factor and not his achievements alone and SRK is the most visible indian brand outside the country for whatever reason. Take a look at his popularity in india compared to sachin and amithabh. His popularity in india dips compared to both these legends. Just becoz he has been named in some list would you consider SRK greater than lata mangeshkar. Rakhi sawanth is more visible on t.v than Vishwanatan anand does that mean she is greater than him. SRK and humility don't go together. After years of bad mouthing everyone from aamir to salman to even big b he is finally getting it back from everyone. Would sachin tendulkar ever come out and tell the world that he is the king? No. Aamir is right, people who are no1 don't need to come out and say it to the world, but people who are insecure abt their position come out and say things like I'am the best etc etc.. Have you ever heard the phrase empty vessels make more sound, SRK can be the best endorser for that statement, afterall he is supposed to be the biggest brand in the country, i'am sure if you fill his pockets he'll be ready to do even this, shameless.
The greatest thing for RNBDJ is that it won over all odds. The film released at a time when the country had been repeatedly hit by terror attacks followed by a languid industry for the whole year round. Moreover,yash raj had the freedom of going for publicity 13 years back, which it shelved off this time. (though other c-grade production houses are craving for publicity every day).As far as dialogues are concrned, among all the films released this year only RNBDJ has got the quality dialogues which no other films have or had. Some of them are: 1)PUNJAB POWER LIGHTING UP YOUR LIFE, SURINDER SAHAHNI THIS SIDE JI. 2)USME RAB DIKHTA HAI. 3)TANI PARTNER, DO NOT FEAR, RAJ IS HERE. 4)UNHONE APNE AAP KO SELF INVITE KAR LIYA JI. 5)IAM A LIGHT SLEEPER JI. 6)HUM HAI RAHIN PYAR KE, PHIR MILENGE CHALTE CHALTE. watching RBDJ was no different experience than watching the dreaded terror attack on mumbai. It was an absolute crap, if the above dialogues are the best according to you, then good luck. It just appeals to people who can't look beyond srk. The fact that you are a fan of srk is evident from the kind of things you have been writing in this forum to create cynicism abt ghajini. This clearly sends out the message that all srk fans are afraid that ghajini will thrash RBDj left, right and centre. you are just blowing srk's trumphet here. Get a life and try to accept that everyone apart from SRK can also make good movies. Have a balanced view towards other actors, especially ones who are miles ahead of SRK.

dude i burned my hard earned money and i've every right to say anything i want. Who is being hypocritical here, i've watched the greatest film of mankind called RBDJ and then expressing my views, some people who have not yet watched ghajini have come in this forum to create a negative impact on the film even before it releases. I watch all SRK movies becoz i love to watch cartoons. Infact SRK is my favourite cartoon.

ya priyo, the dialogues were fantastic and some scenes were good too. The highlights are:
1. shahrukh pulling his pants from his crack 2. the wife of shahrukh hugging her dancing partner and her husband encouraging it. 3. priyo get a life..the movie was trash so was the dialogues..the movie sucks big time and u wanna compare it to ddlj...only the scene where kajol comes was awesome...
Aamir is going to give another beautiful quality cinema.. and looking forward to it...
Actors like Aamir and Akshay are really appreciated as they versatile actors and try to give their best and quality performance...
SRK Joker Khan on the other hand gives the same old crap Raj and Raul characters in each and every movie...after watching RNBJ... i didn't see any different performance and it was like watching his past movies again and again.. SRK Joker Khan is such a stereotype and can't act in any other type of role....this is called a bad actor

Sholay is a copy of 7 Samurai, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. No hollywood movie is real. Memento is a short story written by Jonathan Nolan which was used by his brother Christopher Nolan. Its a story and anyone can use it. Whats wrong in Murugadoss doing it ???

I Gajhani promo. its says written and directed by Murugadoss.. both amir and murgudoss simply do not agree that its inspiration from memento..this much they can do..there is no harm. making a movie on the same story is fine.. just need make sure it does not turn out to be a joke.. Memento is already a appreciated through out the world so comparison will bound to happen..

hav actully seen momento man. The concept of momento and Ghanjini are common that is amnesia. Thats the only thoing thats taken from the movie and nothin else. The story wise both the movies are totaly different. Jus because they copy the concept doesnt mean that they copied the whole movie. Even if they do whats wrong in it. When god tussi great ho is copied from bruce almighty no1 complained nor did u guyz complain when partner was copied from hicth. these are exact replicas of the english originals and dats copyin. not jus the concept bt the whole story was being copied and made in the indian version. So why make sucha big fuss abt Ghanjini. And for the last time Ghanjini is different from momento. Jus the concept of amnesia is same nothin else. so Plz shut ur pie holes for a while

even I am also SRK fan... but its very childish to compare RNBDJ to DDLJ... DDLJ had memorable songs and dialogs.. whereas RNBDJ has only two good songs and there is no dialog u can remember after leaving the show....
you could have tried searching on the web, you could have seen it. Gajini original itself is a remake of a Grade B Hollywood movie. Its sheer waste of money and talent in making a remake of Gajini in Hindi. Hope Aamir would channel his energy for better films
Even after Mumbai terror, people support this film Ghajini is pity indeed. Censor has given a clean chit, god alone knows why? Why support these films after Mumbai terror? I have seen mometo so many times... i have original DVD of it. I am begging God that Ghajjini is not ditto copy of it.. otherwise i will be highly disappointed. Concept, obviously is copied.. so i expectin at least some entertainment out of it, Cos its not my fault.. that i have seen MOMENTO before ... LoL
