RNBDJ is a very well written script and a well made film (both by Aditya Chopra)...It is a genuinely feel good film and keeps one engrossed throughout. The production is A-grade,and the performances by the heroine, Anushka (in her debut) and Vinay Pathak (as the hero's best friend) are very good. But the one really outstanding feature of the film is the fantastic performance by Shah Rukh Khan, esp. in his role of Surinder Sahni ' Suri'. It is arguably his best acting performance till date and I hope that he wins the Filmfare and other awards for it in 2009. No other contemporary maleactor could have essayed the role of a common , average middle-class man better than SRK has done in this film. He completely wins over the audience and has it rooting for him as the underdog mid-way through the film itself; so natural is his "acting". A genuinely touching family film of enduring quality from the YRF stable; undoubtedly one of the top 5 films of 2009. Rating: 4 / 5 ( ideally should have been about 15 min shorter !)

Shahrukh, You are the best when comes to acting!. In this movie, You have crossed all boundaries and taught us the true meaning of love!!!. If you were not there, then we indians never would have known the meaning of love!!!
Excellent performances, Excellent story, Excellent songs....I remember the movie scene by scene and ofcourse all the dialogs!!!
Iam not just praising this movie... This movie has good message which is necessary to bind our lives in this generation!!. Hats off to you shahrukh!! Please entertain us as long as you live!!!

rab ne bana di jodi is a must watch for all indians to rediscover the basic truth -- SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM..The real beauty lies within you and is not the exterior -- whether male or female..it needs guts to make such a movie.kkDk2
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has done business of around 67 crore nett in 13 days. The second week has been rock steady until the release of Ghajini today as collections fell due to much lower screenings.
The film is the biggest hit of 2008 and the first universal blockbuster of the year. The film is the biggest hit in every circuit of India apart from Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Bihar and Rajasthan but of course things may change with the release of Ghajini.

u gotta b kiddin me... just listenin 2 all ur fav songs bein mutilated in that manner by wannabe limerick writers makes you feel like wakin up frm ur rnbdj induced slumber and head out of d theater!!
Worst movie in the history of mankind...well not actually...but somewhere down there.... Just b'cos it's SRK and Aditya Chopra and Yashraj doesn't mean that the reviewr has to sing so many praises and give 4 stars...cheap!!!

I agree with Syed. One do not need to write tattoos on body, no need for a lot of violence to express love, sometimes it is enough to express it the most subtle way as done in RNBDJ.
