Mr. Kamal Hasan has been chasing his dream of winning an oscar and has been making conscious effort to achieve it every now and then. Though he denies the fact that he loves to get an OSCAR but its the truth that every film-goer in south india (a few in North as well)knows.
He is a wonderful actor who gets into the skin of the charcter he plays. His latest Dasavataram is a classic example of how good he is at scripting a film. The 10 roles he essayed shows his versatality. But I feel the story actually did not demand 10 roles to be played by a single artist. Am sure the budget for Dasavataram turned huge (as against the initial estimation) because he wanted to create a record by portraying 10 different roles. Of course the technical brilliance in the film cant be ignored. Had the film bombed at the box-office, the producer would have blamed our Kamal for his over-excitement to play 10 different roles in a film.
Hope in Marmayogi, he puts script and direction over his personal ambitions and make the film a huge commercial success.

Why are u so pessimistic? //Had the film bombed at the box-office// The movie became a huge success rite? Then why these ifs and buts???

PESSIMISTIC... bcos his earlier ventures like ABHAY were hyped too much boasting abt the characters and we all know the result... Good that DASAVATARAM didnt had the same fate...
