Priyan is useless since all he does is scene to scene copies from Mall hits directed by others. Even his orginal Mall hits were directed by his assistants..

priyan is coping movies ok,but all ,he is making laughing.but what is happening in bollywood...eccept priyan,and some other. else all are making sex movies.and some are making storyless pictures ,that movies making more money bcz depends on hero.
One question? Who is making original movies nowadays...i cant see anything. The law of conservation of cinema states that cinema can not be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one language to another. :D
Priyadarshan has a heroine material inhouse. His wife Lissy, actress of yester years in malayalam cinema. She is busty and can give a run for money to any heroines in terms of assets. He should re-introduce her in one of the films.

That's why told you that no need to learn crap. Earning bread butter beacuse English & doing entertainment with mother lang. Learning other craps is just nonsense. Priyadarshan doing good job. BTW Hindi Crap is far better than Tamil & Malayalam.

Bollybood pride going beyond boundaries. We have Original, Copy, remake but we have everything including Mass entetainers. I know how many regional movies copied.
Everybody doing copy cat in life including SW, IT, ITES, Retail etc Specially mallu working everywhere and doing 100% copy in all area.
This is undoubtedly the remake of the Malayalam hit 'Ishtam'. Priyadarshan seems to have absolutely no original ideas. Most of his Hindi films(in fact, all)are copied from Mallu hits of late 80's & early 90's....And he makes foolish,crass comedy out of these superhits.His next venture Billoo Barabr is again a remake of a recent Malayalam hit. As Arun Nayar said, watching these movies is a torture, especially when you compare them with the originals. Mr Priyadarshan, you have good technical finnesse` and a handful of the best actors in the industry. Why dont you try out something original?

i'm a south indian but that doesnt block me to reply to a nonsense. How can u say that north india doesnt have good technicians. in term of cinematographer's how can u forget anil mehta. Hrishikesh mukharji was the person who revolutionised editing style in india. And to correct u,priyan used mostly south indian technicians.infact he only gave career to ravi k chandran,thirru,jeeva and sabu cyril in Hindi

well class and mass never travel in same boat.. bollywoods just mass, which crap by the way.. many filmmakers w'd look back at their works later on and evalute themselves.. in such sense priyan w'd regret it a lot coz he turned up in shit bollywood.. our regional pride is fine with us... look at mani ratnam also, his movies r crap in hindi... and EAGLE no point in arguing with you as ur a fan of a shit industry and so ur class appreciation w'd be zero.

I for one don't mind the copying part. I do mind the part where all his movies just suuuuuuuuuck. Somebody ought to take away his camera, cancel his movie making license or banish him to an Island or something. Now!
As long as Priyan has energy , he will continue copying Mallu film to hindi !! There is no creativity for this actor.. even the sequence will be 'word-by-word' copy of mallu film... All his Mallu films are remakes of hollywood hits and all his hindi films and remakes of mallu films..
Now how can we rate this director ?
May be everyone except mallu's are enjoying his bollywood movies .. that is good , however being a mallu , I sometimes feel hard to digest his films .. stopped seeing his hindi movies for years now..

I priyadarshan earlier. He was considered as one of the best technicians out here in south india, Most of his earlier films had poetic cinematography. He introduced cinimatographers like jeeva,Anand etc.He introduced ravi.k.chandran and tirru ad repeated santosh sivan()h had already been introduced)into hindi. Most of his cinematographers got national awards in his films. But post kaalapani as oppossed to everyone's exceptance he ventured into hindi movies and started churning out crap remakes of classics. The problem here is he is not giving due credits to the original makers. he had remade Herapheri and Hulchul which were originally written and directed by siddique-lal. But he mentioned their name only under story and taken the credit of screenplay or given it to neeraj vora. here if this movie is Ishtam he should have given credit to kalavoor ravikumar the original writer. But in all the reports its mentioned that story and screenplay by priyan..and the fact is barring hungama(which was the remake of his on film) and virasat none of his film come nearer to the originals
