Rajinikanth must apologise
by KANAGASABAI RAMESH on Apr 17, 2008 04:09 PM

In addition to the previous, the reason for forming the club is because they fear, its like if he/she alone they try to mingle since on other go,if they became more then two its like comparison starts our group is superior then the others in all the term,it shows the inferior complex, may be the next generation of the people who are abusing here in this thread might change, because his/her childrens will have an opportunity to mingle with kids different languages.....

Rajinikanth must apologise
by KANAGASABAI RAMESH on Apr 17, 2008 03:59 PM

Hi,

Its sad that though we are all educated, politicians are using water issues for their benefits.

Iam tamilian born and brought here in bangalore,i have many kannada, telugu & malayali friends we really live here happily side by side all these years.

For eg,in my office i do mingle with all the guys with ease because of my spoken ability in all the south indian languages and hindi too.

The guys from other parts of south india either from tn,kl or ap,one two guys are working already the third guy will join and form the club here and starts all kinda of stunts, but then i feel kannadigas are exceptional though...
They aren't like the others...Like in the previous mail, its just that difference its been blown out of proportion(water issues) by politicians...

If you fume by going through this mail, then go and have a mug of beer rather than debating on the topic again.

sibling quarrels
by Samosachat on Apr 16, 2008 04:33 PM

Guys. All this kannada Vs tamil and maratis Vs north Indians should be taken as siblings cat fights and left at that. People who fight today will come together tomorrow. Let us not aggravate it by abuses and bad language on the net.

Respect local language
by thribhuvan hk on Apr 11, 2008 08:25 PM  | Hide replies

Am not advocating (as someone says here) outsiders to pick Kannada. First of all who am I to command an unknown person. But am just saying the fact that most of the outsiders don't understand local sentiments and don't respect Kannada. This is what hurting me.

I too oppose the way the KRV (Kannada Rakshana Vedhike) behaves, but in some way I do feel that because of them atleast some Kannada is left out in Bangalore. How can Mr. veeratamilian can call KRV as terrorist? So we Kannadigas doesn't even have rights to fight for Kannada in Bangalore? Atleast we are fighting for our rights with in India. What about you tamilians? You guys fighting for rights with other countries like Malayasia, Sri Lanka. Then should we call all tamilians as terrorist? Does it makes sense?

Wherever you go respect the rich culture of local language and local people.

They don't damage theaters and black paint malays in Malaysia, like what the KRV terrorists do.
LTTE is also a terrorist, but much worse than KRV. But it doesn't mean KRV is not a terrorist. Kannadigas have right to fight, but KRVs use terror to fight which is not a right.
Lets not have bias because KRV belongs to our karnataka. KRV is as terrorist as DMK in tamilnadu. Tamil people and karnataka people are not terrorists.

I totally agree with u on Kannada and kannadiga are sidelined especialy in Bangalore. An outsider coming to bangalore will not know whats kannada or kannada culture.I had felt this when i came to bangalore 2 yrs back. But tell me onething myfriend do u think Tamils or anyother outsiders only responsible for this.Is this is the responsiblity of locals(kannadigas) to hold high their language.whenever i try speaking in Kannada(Broken) people used to give me reply either in hindhi, english or broken tamil. All these folks are locals only.
U know what i used to watch TV channels to learn this language.is'nt it pathetic. Its whoz fault defnatly not outsiders. But whatever the KRV is doing will force moderator like me to the extreme,Is that good? Think my friend

Who are vattaal and Narayana?
by daimavane on Apr 11, 2008 01:47 AM  | Hide replies

To BAN a indian citizen to cross border into to KN? these are just idiots. what is the legal basis for this ban? Only KN does cheap stuff like banning movies rather than improving themselves among competition.

If Rajini can not enter, the next Ediyurappa and Kumurasamy can not step into TN to worship their favorite temples in TN. Same goes to Rajkumar family, if they want to return to TN to visit Raj kumar's ancestrial villaeg.

Rajini doesn't know what to speak in the public. He is searching political awarness. Now people must understand that how a man changes his fashion. If he been in Karnatake as a Conductor, he might have not known to anybody. Now this man has totally avoided his birth place. He is supporting Tamilnadu.

Yeah Rajni is right! In Rome you need to be a Romeo. Hence he is supporting TN where he has got all the fame and accolades. He need not say Sorry as he has not told anything against anyone and just against Anti-social elements. Hope you are not part of the Anti-social elements which disrupts life in Bangalore whenever there is Cauvery issue or any damn lame issue and it is hurting you. Take walk Mike Mahesh. Dont rubbish your claim.

First you bloody ask Sorry to TN People

Mr. Ajay Rao,
You could have conveyed it bit more politely. I am a Tamilian and am very very proud of being one. I do have a lot of Kannada friends who are NOT beggars and NOT Pichaikkarans. They are good people. I just can't understand you talking about Tamil ppl being emotional and worshipping Rajni. What are you doing? Hogenekkal will never happen.. What kind of statement it is? If supreme court rules it right, anything will happen in India. Nobody can stop it. No Tamilian or Kannadiga can stop anybody's share.. Hey, we both have something in common.. I am an ardent Kamal fan. I love Rajni too. Relax, let the law take its course. If Kannadiga's are really affected, I'm sure the ruling would have been/will be in their favour. "PICHAKARANS"?? "DIVIDING" Indian.. funny that you are talking about it..
Tamil folks, lets fight this guy the Gandhian way and no outburst against Kannadiga's please.. They are our neighbours and we love them. We really care no less for Mr Ajay Rao's words. He loves Kamal, listens to AR Rehman & watches Maniratnam.. but calls us PICHAIKARAN??? Rajni and Sathya raj are great Tamil actors and we love them.. It's just that we can't hate anybody like you do.. Mr.Ajay.. Have a great life, loser..

Very well said!!

I wish to see no more hatred comments between tamilians and kannadigas. Every one in this country is great and every languages and local sentiments should be respected. But unfortunately this is not happening. Being a kannadiga I am quite hurt because some non-kannadigas (of course there are few exceptions like you) feel that all kannadigas are worthless and because of outsiders only bangalore and karnataka is shining. Earlier in 70s and 80s there were more nearly 80% kannadigas in bangalore. But now it has come down to 48%. Today its bangalore and tomorrow it can be chennai or hyderabad. But non-kannadigas should understand local sentiments of kannadigas and respect kannada language, which I feel is not happening. Will it happen??

seems like kannadigas are following the foot-steps of maharashtrians in a very short time. thats why Indians are called quick learners.

Now a 1 billion people question, which state will next ban which state people.?

Rightly said my dear Friend! I'm with you in strongly opposing such trends anywhere be in TN,KA,Kerala or Maharastra.

Lets grow and behave like human beings and cultured ones at that. We should learn to respect each other mutually for what they are. Dont create trouble for fellow human beings unnecessarily. Lets Live and Let Live

Rightly said we all are human beings, only by place of birth we are called so and differed by language in this earth.

Why we humans are to fight among each other for water and on the words said by rajini.

After all this human body and this whole earth is filled with 70% of water.

This shows how foolish you're. I'm sure you are neither a Kannadiga nor a Tamil, but try to wider the hatred between them. Opposing the imposition of a new language in their state doesn't mean that they are opposing other state people. You ask the Northerners how are they living peacefully in Tamilnadu. If they want to learn any language, they are not opposed to do that in TN. You try to understand that and your statement is unwaranted here.
