the only reason Rajni openened his mouth (nad invariably put his feet in there) because he had no choice and all Tamil actors and the tamil guild was behind him and testing his loyalty..Read how Sarath had warned before Rajni decided to join the protest... Rajni is no very very whatever..he is a tamil actor who has to depend on tamil audience and hence he did this drama..he had no choice.

Joe Boss you get killed and expect to be peaceful. we know how Bangalore was boiling and what all they did to appease the then TN CM for Rajkumar's freedon when he was in Veerappan's clutches. The same KRV told they would go to the forests and releive Rajkumar and come back which they didnt do anyway. Veerappan was only doing it against the atrocities of anti-social elements of Karanataka against TN people and was so Magnanimous in releasing Rajkumar without a single scratch on his body.
Tamilians are more adjustive in nature and they erupt only when needed or forced upon unlike others. If Kannadigas where in Srilanka they would have blown off the whole colombo(anyways imagination only as they would not move their Asses beyond Kar)and there would be 100's of LTTE like organisation instead of one KRV

@ajay bhathire I do agree to some extent but disagree to one of your comment - "Thats why I totally agree with Rajnikanth who said that the persons who are creating disturbances and hurting innocent people should be kicked". Rajanikanth being a celebrity should be more responsible in what he says. He should have been very specific saying that "politicians to be kicked", which he didn%u2019t but rather he said "people who are opposing the project should be kicked", somewhat indirectly pointing to people of Karnataka, which would have hurt any Kannadiga (including me). Rajanikanth was supposed to decide between Mathrubhoomi (Karnataka) and Karmabhoomi (TN), but since he earns his bread in TN and hence he was made to be biased towards TN.
Why that is always a film stars gets involved in such controversies? Film stars are meant to be good only on screens but not in real life. They just want to showcase themselves by being patriotic (as if they are). It applies to the film stars of both Kannada and Tamil. Why is that Karnataka or TN farmers (who are the real sufferers) not being brought in front of the stage. Everyone knows that this issue has been politicized by both Karnataka and TN politicians. Otherwise tell me why Karunanidhi should bring this issue now that too during Karnataka elections and agree to what was suggested by Man Mohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi. The issue was not brought by Karunanidhi. It was all started by karnataka when Yediyurappa tried to cross the border claiming Hogenakal belongs to karnataka. After a brief violence in karnataka, Karunanidhi said we will go ahead with the project even if our bones are broken. He didn't say anything bad about kannadigas...
Kanndigas (at least, the educated ones) try to use their brains and don't think only from their heart. Kannadigas don't be overly jingoist...I'm ashamed of being a kannadiga myself. I'm from shimoga.
