Who doesn't know that Guru Dutt was a Padukone??
by Jay Subramanyam on Aug 20, 2008 11:14 AM

This writer seems to be nurturing a vain belief that he has something truly exclusive to share with the readers, when almost everyone who has a fair knowledge of Guru Dutt knows that his surname was Padukone. And look at the way he starts off - 'Yes, you read it right' as though he is about to disclose the secret of the century!! Such people only make bad writers and nothing else.

Rediff trying to sink lower and lower
by gyan on Sep 22, 2007 07:46 PM  | Hide replies

Rediff is really trying to sink lower and lower as far as journalism standards go. And to think that they were one of the best in quality journalism a couple of years back!!

WHAT exactly was the meaning of this article? You'll get hundreds of such matches if you start looking around! So will Rediff take one cast/ sir name a day and then give us the list of related film industry people?! Sickening!

ridiculing rediff is now becoming a fashion. every one wants to prove how witty they r by finding fault with rediff. buddy, this is website, it has pages for all kind of reports, serious reports to filmy gossips. what is the problem in doing it. do u keep criticising a newspaper also for it! choose and read what u want. why do u impose ur taste on everybody...!

Well said....!! Some people take great pride in spreading "Gyan" around as if they were first borns in a critic's family. True, rediff like other portals caters to a wide spectrum, it's for one to leaf thru what one likes but just criticising for the heck of it I guess seems fashionable to some silly bird brains... You're right, how do we leaf thru newspapers? some opinionated soul would like to dispense his "Gyani" comments after each para...!!
