Friend the poor do not want to watch their own real life in reel cinema.They wud like to go home happy & its the same with Indian Cinema.This one is for the west & even our owm Elite,politicians will not watch out of guilt

I completely agree that the mentioned so called stars Films are absolute trash! But some sane and new movie makers sans these stars are making good films.. Check out movies like Godavari,Bommarillu... Too good and without all the crap..

There are some people who thinks that they are class apart just like Sreedhar Pothukuchi. I think you need to understand the economics of film industry.
Producers are not fools to put money on 'creative ' subjects. I bet even if you have 10 crores and asked to make the money, you will bet on big stars and not on freshers.
Finally industry means stars and people. It includes Spot Boys, Crane Boys, Assistants, Exhibiters, cycle stand wallas and so many.
And do you know one thing, a cycle stand owner has made it big with the hit like Pokiri.
I am not saying that you are wrong. Try to respect the industry.

Your concern seems to be justified but think about it. Why do producers make such kind of movies? Thats because we watch those third class movies. As long as everyone is ready to watch just any movie, the producers will be dishing out such filth. Things have improved in Hindi industry, where there is a sizeable audience for good movies and we can see good/ alternate movies coming out once in a while.

There we go now. All of us, with the possible exception of Malayalam (non Shakeela and Reshma ones) are equally filthy. There is the occassional Girish Kasaravalli in Kannada, Thankar Bachan in Tamil and NONE in Telugu (Sadly, Viswanath has lost his creative ability.) About Hindi and the mush-less 0.5 heroes and the meaningless melodramas, the less said the better. A sad scenario this - we are now fighting for credits as to how many people are actually watching the crap. God, please give me good movies to watch.....
