Sory Sameer.Amitabh is the Greatest STAR IN INDIA. But he is not the No:1 Actor.He is No:1 Film Star .That I agreed.In that case he is greater than Mohanlal & Anybody in India.I think his position in the best actors will come 11th to 15th. Thanks sameer

As a mallu and diehard fan of Mohanlal your keeping of him at the top is agreed. your list is also quiet convincing, but rating Mamooty as average is undigestable as i found him natural in many movies like CBI Diary,New Delhi etc.
he also won National award twice ( i dont know exactly).

Sory Akram.Mammootty is excellent actor of India.But he is a typical actor. I dont made any pariality. Mammotty will come within 10th to 15th place. I dont think mammootty is bad.But comaparing with Mohanlal he is only average. Anyhow Mammooty is the most INTELLIGENT ACTOR IN INDIA. HE KNOWS THE SURVIVAL & SELECTION OF ROLES MORETHAN ANYBODY.

Mohanlai is no1,Thilakan is No2,Nedumudi venu No3,............Fill all the slots with malayalam actors only.Mallus are not exposed to other good film industries.(they dont want to...).So they think only mallu actors are great.ofcourse mohan lal is a great actor,but defntly not no1.U will find many other good actors in hindi also.

Sory Girish, I include Shah,Anupam,Ompuri,Nana from Hindi.I dont made any partiality.I told only the reality.All great Indian film actors, Kamal,Shah,Mammooty,Sivaji, Nana,Bachan,Thilakan,Nedumudi etc. are agreeying Mohanlal is the No:1.Then Y u r not agreeing ? well george lal is a gud actor but not as versatile as Kamal or even Mamooty.. he always do the same type of roles.. dosent know to dance if the character requires it.. Can he do Saagara Sangamam no way... Best Actor in India is Kamal followed by Lal... Kamal is the Only actor who justifies the given role... And i feel Mammoka is not an average actor he is one among the best...

Hi Praveen. I respect u r reply. From ur statement u didnot see the majority of Mohanlal films. did u see the dancing steps in Kamaladalam & Kathakali steps in Vanaprastham, & the crying of Kireedam, Fudel role of Devasuram, Army role of Keerthichakra, Romantic role of Bharatham, Villan role of Uyarngalil,Comedy role of Nadodikkatte, Police role of Ezhumuthal Onpathuvare ect..etc? Think Kamal has any Villan role? Any challeging role Policeman? He is doing varities.I agreed. But not reach at the range of Mohanlal. Kamal also agrees that. In the case of Mammooty (he is also a ecellent actor) But Mammooty will not come the 10th Nearest to Mohanlal & Kamal.Pl. think Independently without prejidudice !

well George im a mallu.. I think u havnt seen, Alavandhan, Drohi(best ever police film made not Ezhumuthal Onpathuvare), Saagra Sangamam(compare it Vanaprastham he is nowhere nr), AnbeSivam, Panchathanthiram, MumbaiExpress(best comedy film), Naaygan the list is endless..

Sameer about Mohanalal, he is considered to be very down to earth and also willing to help friends, this has made him the star he is and he has this word of mouth publicity about his good manners, further if a real count is taken as to fans of Mohanlal & Mammotty then Mohanlal would be way ahead.
