An Idea to Tussaud's managemet, if you put Rakhi Sawant's or Lalu Yadev's wax figure there then you will sell more tickets than putting all Bollywood in wax. You better believe me otherwise you will loose a lot of ticket sale.

Is Really Salman Popular ?
by Arkan on Oct 28, 2007 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

Salman Khan was selected by a Poll from 10 contestants which includes Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Karan Johar, Kajol, Lata Mangeshkar, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham in addition to Salman. Where as Indian votes splitted among the nine contestants other than Salman, fans from Pakistan and Indian muslim fans unanimously voted for Salman.(There could be exceptions). Thats the reason why he got selected. If Salman was against single opponent, let it be Abhishek, Hrithik, Madhuri or Kajol he would have lost.

However I dont mind whoever makes it to Tussaud's since I have no plans to visit it in forseeable future.

The three Khans (SRK, Amir, Salman) are the super hero of Indian film industry, had it been for the religion, they would have never lasted that long.
People like you are super idiot who can never see beyond the narrow thoughts of religious prejudices

In India vote results are always based on caste and religion. Just have a look around and you will understand that. Good things will be accepted from anybody but when it comes to making choices people judge it by caste / religion. Whenever 'Sexiest Actor' poll was done within India, Abhishek / John / SRK etc topped list. Salman was far behind. Then how come in this poll he came first ?

I am trying to find an answer logically. Also I never said Khans are not good actors. If logical thinking is a sign of super idiots, I am one !!! Before making statements please think from other person's view as well. Some times other person could be right.

Its a trick

Guys believe me. I have been to the tussauds and saw aish's Srk's and Mr. Bacchan's statue. I was absolutely disappointed. They do not at all look like the original stars.

I also found that the quality of the statues of other prominent hollywood stars like Brad Pitt, Anjolina Jolie nd Arnold Schwarzenegger is far far better than our bollywood stars.

The only Indian I found had his statue justified to his stature, was Mr. Gandhi.

Statues that I liked the most are Mother Teresa, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Michael Schumacher and David beckham.

And also Halle Berry.

i agree with you jimmy that the quality of indian statue are not as compared to these ....
And, i dont understand why people waste their money in watching these statues which give me them nothing except disappointment ... Rather spend your money somewhere else.....!!!!!
