The reason salman won is because of the large south asian muslim population in britian(pakis and bangladeshis included). There are more msulim south asians in england than hindu south asians.

I agree with you. Many will write 'you should think beyond religion'. Thats correct. We should. But in reality very few think beyond religion. Why all the elections in India are driven by Caste/Religion ? Becoz voting is always according to that.
If not for religion, how you can explain Salman getting more votes than Abhishek ? 'Abhishek' has won 'Sexiest Actor' title in many polls conducted in India. Salman was not even in Top 3. Also what explanation you will give for popularily of Khan actors in Pakistan and Bangladesh while Akshay who gives continous hits is not popular there..
Its true that people should think beyond Caste/Religion. Unfortunately so far they dont..
I think this partlity with south indian film fraternity. they don't get consider for the national award, not for madam tussade, why? why? not even rajnikant, who recently had given such world wide huge hit... why why why? I will tell coz the gallore around the south indian stars are gifted by the media not by pubic and when they have to face neutral public they were always looser....very bad loosers

I didnt understand whether your is for or against South Films. Rajni was not selected by voting mainly becoz he was not among contestants. If he was in the list of 10 stars from which Salman was selected, definitely he would have given a tough competition to Salman. Its becoz South Indian will unanimously vote for Rajnikanth.

Thats a good thinking Maxxx. The poll according to them was accesible only to those who visited museum or their web during the poll period. So voting is restricted to Tussad's enthusiasts.
