Can't understand why are film makers are hell bent in recreating the classics. Dont they have original ideas. Ritesh, Sanjay and Govinda might be good intheir own terms but that doesnt mean they can recreate the magic done by Sunil Dutt, Mehmood and Kishore Kumar. No way! I am sure it'll be a disaster like Ram Gopal Varma's Aag which was a misrepresentation of Sholay.

I agree with ajay. Let me warn now. If any of the current singers try ot attempt to sing "Mera Saamne wali khidki" "kehna hai" and "Ek chatur naar", it will be disgrace. I an sure Udit narayan has learnt a lesson for trying to sing "Khaike Paan banaras waala" recently and hope this will be an example to rest of the Cacaphonixs.

So far, the remake experience is not very encouraging...are the filmcrats short of ideas and new themes? And BTW, is their anyone who would be able to do at least 1% of what RD Burman contributed to 'Padosan'???
