RE:Sridevi wasn't a trained Dancer like Madhuri

Excuse me!!! Sridevi is a tranied Bharatnatyam dancer. Madhuri undoubtedly is a good dancer but nothing can beat Sridevi's dances. Her dances, alongwith movements were full of expressions which is uncomparable. Once Shekhar Kapoor himself said the he faces great confusion when he picturises a song with Sridevi. If he takes her close up, camera misses her superb movements and if he captures her from a distance, he misses her facial expressions which are a great asset in a complete dance form. So no hard feelings for Madhuri, but yes its difficult to beat Sridevi. Other superb dancers are/were- Vaijyanti Mala, Sandhya(few of her dances are uncomparable), Padmini, Hema Malini, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Jayaprada(she seemed even better than Sridevi in a jugalbandi with her),Wahida rahman, asha parekh (yes she was a trained Katthak dancer),rekha(though she was not a trained dancer),and not to forget the legendary Helen.

Sridevi is not a trained classical dancer! She has herself admitted that she cant dance better than Jaya Pradha because she is not traained whereas Jaya Pradha is trained!
there are at present 10 different articles on rediff about madhuri. so madhuri is not paying rediff for publicity as per ur logic? if it was abt srk, u would have said he is doing cheap publicity by paying rediff. why not a single post saying the same abt madhuri? accwept it all u idiots are just jealous of srk, u reserve dirtiest and cheap comments only for hima s u can't bear his success!!!!!!

I would vote for SRK., its too obvious that M paid enuf to get the publicity - which was not something she would get for "dancing"
Ek do teen, don%u2019t frown. Somewhere out there in a small town, the Ajanta Disco Akademi is about to be replaced by a shopping mall. Such gall. Really the townies don%u2019t even seem the type who%u2019ll stroll in to buy a fancy doll or beach ball.
Scripted with more potholes than you could find on a post-monsoon road, Aaja Nachle is a vast disappointment.
Certainly don%u2019t expect the Madhuri Dixit of yore, don%u2019t weep at the lack of sophistication by first-time director Anil Mehta (would he please stick to cinematography?) and don%u2019t be shocked by the lack of A-class production values from the Yashraj banner. Say cheesy.
Forget unexplored Swissscapes, you%u2019re not even flown to Manhattan where Ma%u2019am Dixie Diya teaches moves to expressionless Big Apple basket cases. Hup, you gotta move, you gotta groove, that sort of a thing. Oh brother, oh sister, whom are you kidding director bhai?

Our Dancing Dia (Dixit), a single mom rushes to the small town, accompanied by her rather dazed daughter, to rescue that Akademi from the mall mafia. Yippee.

These top 5 dances are chosen by Vaibhavi Merchant, choreographer. So, its her personal choice. We can have no sya in that.
Ek Do Teen... certainly got people crazy after Tezaab was released. However, Madhuri matured as a dancer 1 or 2 years after she started her career. Ek Do Teen is not bad, but there are many other dances in her later movies which can be rated better in terms of Madhuri's dancing skills.
