I really don't understand these ratings and why people are refusing to see it - it is a great family movie, with lots of fun and energy - without all the stupid americanized junk that indian directors try to copy from western movies. we in the US laugh at ridiculous Hindi movies where women dress like they are strippers and prostitutes and there is a lot of fake violence. finally - here is a good movie with a good plot and wonderful characters but of course everyone already decided beforehand that it is not worthy! get your act straight!!!

Overall A good film to watch...
Definitely better offf to OM SHANTI OM and other movies which are declared to be hit by many trade pandits.
Story is predictable, still the way it is narrated is nice. Humor is instantaneous and extremely enjoyable.
A competent performance by whole crew, topped by Madhuri. She still dances like a dream and her million dollar smile is still very charming!! Dance performances, either its Dance with me or explosive title track or Sufi song O Re Piya or Show me your jalwaa.... Any one who loves dancing would love all of them.. Her overall performance in the movie is spell binding, looking at she is 42 now!
Critics don%u2019t like the music. I don%u2019t know what is wrong with Taran Adarsh%u2019s ears. Music is very nice and pleasant on ears. Yes, definitely it has a strong classical base, but that itself is a reason for it to be nice.
I saw movie this weekend and liked it more than OSO. Good to watch atleast for first time. Yeh the script is little bit poor but execution is very good. Songs could have been batter. Still it can be given 3 and 1/2 stars. 2 and 1.2 is too low for it.
Would better Mamta agree for this movie from the first offer by Yash.May be Ms.Dixit looks too old.thats why she coudnt make it.But that dosnt mean she is drop.There is no comparity with these great stars.
good movie, nice movie, great performances, specially Laila-Majnu play,it is a hit movie, better than OSO. All viewers please take a note that dont look at the rediff stars, go and watch the movie with your family. its not a comedy, its not a entertainer but it is not bad also.its a goodie goodie movie like Suraj Barjatya's movies but it is not boring also. I really appreciate Madhuri, the one and only Hero and the Heroine of this movie, I think Shahrukh Khan should watch this movie and see how to make a movie without any scenes containing blood scenes, item songs and shabby marketing skills.
After a long gap you get to see a great MOVIE. I think Raja Sen does not deserve to be a film reviewer - Or he has seen some other movie and mistaken it as Aaja Nach Le.... This is one of the movies which has you spell bound and glued to the screen through out the movie. Great performances by Madhuri and the whole crew. Deserves atleast 4 stars or more.
It was definitely a good movie, very tension free. this movie really does not need a hero at all. mads plays the role herself.she is par beyond excellence.great show to watch with family.
There was time when we used to go by the ratings given by Raja Sen, but nowaday he seems to have lost his originality,{damn commercialisation: you pay I write goody goody}
Now people have hardly any belief in ratings given by him...
am not big time fan of madhuri, but i loved this film. its a complete family film. music, dance, well written humor, fantastic performances, and the most beauatiful madhuri. i want to see this film again and again.
