Sorry to say, but in the recent past i've seen lot of hate messages for SRK on rediff. Why? What wrong he did to you? Ussne tumhara kya nuksaan kiya? If you don't like him, just keep it to yourself but why hate messages? If you cannot appreciate the acheivements or success of somebody, no problem, but don't criticise just for the sake of critisizing. One thing is for sure, you can love him or hate him but cannot ignore him. Now regarding SRK's popularity in Russia may he is not popular over there but Maria Sharapova (now don't ask me who is she) is a big fan of SRK. There was a talk show of Maria Sharapova here in Dubai with Karan Johar and she had asked Karan Johar to give her the big poster autographed by SRK because she is a big fan of him (Source: Mid-day). The business of Tom Cruise's movie, Lions for Lamb was hugely effected by OSO and Saanwariya. We Indians are slowly but steadily making our mark everywhere. It's SRK who single handedly opened the doors of overseas market for bollywood, let us appreciate this.

Obviously what else can you expect on a KJo show.He'll take SRK's name so many times that you cannot ignore it.Also will make every effort from his part to assure the guest expresses their fondness for SRK.

Hate messages just prove that he is no king as he is made out to be by the media. Why he just does not acknowledge the fact thst there r better actors and stars in Bollywood and Hollywood. His parrot like affirmations from the rooftop I'm the best...I'm the best will only get him hate mails. He can judge his popularity frm the number of hate messages.One can not push one's 'greatness' down people's throat.

Hate Messages are for every body in the world... Every famous person has received hate messages... I belive in one thing only... If youe have enemies this if good for you, it means you have stood firm against something.

Sanjay bhaaya, tum paagal hogaye ho. All my family and my friends in college love him a lot. He is a rage among teenage crowd even though he crossed 42 yrs. couple of days before. As far as calling himself a King is concerned, yes, he is the King of the entire bollywood. Rahi baat hate messages ki, the people who hate him can be counted on fingers. If you want to hate him, go ahead, it hardly effects his popularity. East or West, Sharukh is the best.
Abdul, aapne bilkul theek kaha hai. It's shahrukh who opened the overseas market for bollywood. Now everyone is getting benifits of that.

yaar, srk ka acting bilkul bakwas hai. Hakla hai. Agar tumhe pasand hai to tum dekho. dushare pe kahe jor dalte ho.
saawariya is a movie for all those who have seen and admired movies like Pride and Prejudice,King Kong,Kate and Leopold....what the movie requires is class audience and not crass audience.so go and watch it and decide which category you fall in.

SRK sells, agreed. But he is nowhere near and will never surpass the titan Raj kapoor in russia.
Raj Kapoor's movies were portrayal of a common man, not a super hero like today. His movie was more socialistic and down to earth. That theme goes well with communists.
raj kapoor made good movies.. and was a diplomat and did not harpe like he was the god of indian cinema,, his movies had an international appeal and a theme.. not just jumping here and there ... u need not show ur stomach to become a heroo and look at the topic? no one knows shahrukh even in sri lanka and thailand.. no one knows him in europe either.. rediff please be matured and dont give sensational masala...
