WE CANNOT COMPARE BOTH THESE MOVIES. BOTH OF THEM CAN BE GOOD IN IT'S OWN WAY. SANJAY BHANSALI IS WELL KNOWN FOR GIVING EXOTIC TREATMENT TO AN ORDINARY LOVE STORY, WHEREAS SRK / FARAH TEAM COULD BE WITTY, ENTETAINING AND MUSICAL. IT DEPENDS ON YOUR MOOD TO SEE WHICH MOVIE WHEN. PL DO NOT CREATE UN-NECESSARY AND UN-COMPARABLE COMPETITION BETWEEN THEM, EXCEPT FOR THE BOX OFFICEW COLLECTION. I WISH THEM BOTH THE BEST. FINALLY, BOTH OF THEM ARE TO ENTERTAIN US.
comparing farah to bhansali? it is a crime. farah is trash. she doesnt know what direction is! bhansali is a master of his craft! he has handled a star of amitabh's calibre and made him give a superb performance.
this is wrong. how can u compare a donkey like farah with a genius like bhansali?

Offcourse Bhansali is a good director ... But that doesn't mean Farah is donkey because Bhansali is a Horse... Both may do good job... Farah has done well in Main Hoon Naa...Though their styles are different..they both will do miracle... Wait and watch.

So far its only cracked a deal with single screen owners, thats why u cant find tickets in multiplex theatres except very few, PVR is one i guess.

OSO is going to be the biggest flop of this year...they are creating artificial demand for the tickets by not selling the tickets and also a artifilal feeling that the movie is a sellout.

Heres a bit of Diwali Release calculation. Assuming that the movie releases in 600 cinemas, there is a break up of 60:40 in multiplex to single screen ratio. A single multiple screen has 280 odd seats while a single screen at an average 800 seats. so. Further lets assume that this being diwali the first 3 days, fri - sat - sun will be sold out. The average multiplex ticket price for a multiplex is Rs.120 while tis Rs.70 for single screen. So: multiplex - 280(seats)*360(60% of 600 cinemas)* 6(shows per day)*120(av ticket price)*3(housefull diwali days) = 21.8 crores Single Screen - 800(seats)*240(cinemas)*3(shows per day)*70(av ticket price)*3(housefull diwali days) =12.09 crores Total = 21.8 12.09 = 34 crores approx for each movie.
Both movies will recover their costs in the first three days alone. So its a win win for both.

These days no Bollywood movie loses on profit if it has a known star and is marketed well. Making profits is easy in overseas market and in Indian market in first week. Definition of Flop or Hit is now no more dependant upon Profit/ Loss. For example Rang De Basanti was appreciated and was a hit whereas Mangal Pandey was a flop but both the movies made Profits
Comparing these 2 itself its a debate. If you really know what direction is u can't call farah a Director. Its basically a choreographer(willing to direct)and a directors movies coming this diwali. Enjoy
