Both are great in their respective skills. While SLB looks for a shot with as much creativity as he can, Farah looks for the shot which would have more entertainment quotient. Just look at Main Hoo Na where she tried to put some or the other thing to make every scene an entertaining one. I think we gonna see even more entertaining movie in the form of Om Shanti Om. While Sawariya seems to be a flavor of new lovers who are passionate about love.
SLB IS DEFINETLY BIG DIRECTOR . FARAH CAN NOT COMPARE WITH SLB. FARAH CLASS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. KARAN JOHAR / FARAH KHAN THEIR HITS ONLY BECAUSE OF SRK. THANKS
SLB has a record of making dome masterly movies .He has directed the best-Big B,Salman,Rani,Madhuri,Aishwarya and even SK.Farah fame is only becuase of friendship of the trio of SK,KJ & her apart from her big Mouth brother.
Both the directors are on top in their own way and both of them will do justice to their file. There is no need for comparison and competition, both the films must be watched on the big screen. I am sure they will entertain the masses and they will be hit movies.
I feel that our people are so messed up in their daily lives and the need some enjoyment which is what Bollywood delivers.
Mahesh Bhatt once said that if a person in a car likes my film I will be travelling in a rickshaw but if a rickshaw guy likes my film I will be travelling in Aeroplane.
Shah Rukh Khan or Hrithik or Salman or the other heroes they have mass appeal and people flock to see their movies even though people know it is typical bollywood masala film.
Janata janardhan ko jo pasand aati hain woh sab se behtereen hoti hain.
There is another point to film-makin which is about money. If a good director wants to prove a point like in Devedas, Bhansali did by creating lavish sets and overspending he has earned money but if after spending 100 crores you are earning 150 crores you are only earning 50 crores on 100 crores investment and rish which is 50% return on investment.
Whereas film makers like Vikram bhatt earn 50 crores on a 20 crore film which is 150% return on investment. This people are the one who will sustain the industry on the longer run.
K. Asif made Mughal-e-Azam but he could not make any other movie. In the making of this Epic he got bankrupt 4 or 5 times. If not for the cable television and awards show, bhansali could not have found any producers for his films !
