You seem to be needing a lot of practice in watching all sorts of Hindi Cinema. Watch out Rand De Basanti and you'll come to know of this star from South who left a mark on us the viewers from North. In any case, he is guy adorning Black Tee - Shirt.

"chappan tikali" u r such a fool. I am also north indian and anybody can guess the guy in center is the Siddarth. "Siddarth" is talented actor, he has done films in tamil also. I am sure that "cahappan tikle" is not an indian, he just want to distrub us.

All south indian actors are FAT? If you don;t watch any south indian movies how did you come to that conclusion? From your talks you don't even watch Hindi movie...wonder how you missed Rang De Basanti, unless you thought that was a Non-Hindi movie. Also another thing that might help you and maybe prevent making foolish comments on the world wide web, would be to read the associated article with the pic.

Siddharth did a good job in RDB and definitely left a mark. But, I agree that there's no harm in asking as everyone need not know actors from other regions. Unless a famous regional film actor acts in Hindi films and that too, a sizeable no., it is difficult to become known.

This guy SIDHARTH just worked in one hindi movie and u r expecting us( all north indian) to recognize this fellow...........r u mad or what ? i saw RDB , but the only character i rember out of all of guys is AAMIR KHAN and SHARMAN JOSHI..........For the other fellows i thought they all are HINDI TV SERIEL GUYS or character artist like "Atul Kulkarni" or "Kiron Kher".......... If this guy ( sidharth ) is such a big star in south( as u people are telling) then PLEASE TELL HIM TO DO A BIG OR GOOD ROLE IN HINDI MOVIES SO EVERY BODY CAN RECOGNIZE HIM>,,,,,,

Hindi actors and actresses have same expression always and songs lyrics has same repeated Pyar, pagal, Deewana.. with same rhythm and same old storyline and all the Heroes are looks like Maxican dudes.... and copy cats Hollywood stars( Even big B copy cats - Al Pachino/ Jack Nicholson) . All together... the most crappy industry in India never produce a good movie still hanging on old sholy..

No need to prove to you by acting in Hindi movie that he is a big star.....when comment something you should know what you are talking..He got very good comments from good and well know people in movie industry about his acting in Rang de Basanti....donot compare to big stars who are there in industry for 20 years...this guy is new and doing good...and know to people who are good with watching hindi movies...

well said, you can never meet the expectations of a south indians in revering their actors. even an actor with only a single hit movie under his belt has his temple and few self-immolations during his funeral. Therefore you need not feel guilty of asking about sidharth and not recognising him in RDBasanti

See, whether anyone recognises a south indioan actor or north indian actor, it is ugly to brand people based on regions. South Indians say thet North indians are not disciplined and north indians look down on south indians with such a superiority feeling(which can only be termed as complex) and god knows why they feel that way. Why can't we recognise and respect each other for the cultural differences we have and be united as indians? Our strength is in diversity. And if we don't respect that diversity, then who will?

Every region has its pluses and minuses....President Abdul kalam Azad is a south indian and our PM Manmohan Singh is North Indian. Now both you facist, south indians and north indian, will you guys start abusing or categorising the above two gentlemen based on their region?????? Let us not forget the fact that we are all Indians..Why do we fight on the name of regions? I am a north Indian and i think Siddharth was better than Aamir Khan or Sharman Joshi in the film.Live and be Known as Indians and not as South or East or West or North Indians.

Well Said Honey Singh. btw, i am south indian(from hyd) but i would prefer to refer me as "Indian". Sometimes i wonder why people just start abusing each other for no reason. Here the discussion was about an actor siddarth and about his movie RDB. and everyone appreciated his performance in that movie. i have watched some of his telugu movies and he is fabolous. how come this stupid discussion of Noth india-south india started i really can't understand. How is the topic relavant for that kind of discussion? why can't we grow up?

The first line near the caption "Reader Altaf Shariff (left) and his friend Praveen (right) bumped into actor Siddharth". So isn't it obvious that the person in the center is sidharth. Maybe u lack even simple reasoning skills. No wonder northies liek u rever stupid mullah khans as heroes while hindus are protrayed as chamchas in hindi movies. Have some self respect.
