let me be blunt..if ppl have to form a first opinion bout a person by looking at his/her face they tend to make a negative impression bout the person who is darker in skin complexion than themselves..this is the real reason y northies have a superiority complex...and thts y all white americans actors/ politicians are idolized more in north india...

Proud to see Indians all over the world - Why doenst Hollywood outsource their movies to us ? We could have Amitabh Bachan instead of Sean Connery and Govinda in place of Bud Spencer . We could even have karisma kapoor in place of Sharon Stone
it is silly and treacherous to divide Indian and south and north. This is how the foreigners ruled over us; still we are continuing the same trend after so much of educational developement and enllightenment. An Indian by his talent deserves applause irrespective of caste,creed and religion, be it siddarth or sharukh, amitabh or kamal haasan. Then only we can be proud of being their contemporary Indians.

Agree fully with u alaka .... thats the problem with us Indians .. we indians are not patriotic .. the moment we see one indian going up , the other pulls him down .. Sad
It feel really sad to notice that even for minor issues like recognizing movie stars, we are divided and debating on regionalism. let every one make their points but not by abusing others please......

Thats why south Indian fools are more advanced in terms of Education, Technology, development etc. Poor north India, still fighting with poverty, illiteracy, slums & all the dodgy things. Perhaps these North fools dont know that Rekha, HemaMalini, Sridevi, etc are from South. Ooops, forgot, they are illiterates...
