This is a better way to get the audiences attention to come in and watch the movie. A brilliant promotional mind no matter if the movie is crap the box office will not stop jingling.
Shakti (Overshadowed by Dilip Kumar) Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham & Veer - Zaara (Overshadowed by Shah Rukh Khan) Deewar (Overshadowed by Shashi Kapoor) Black (Overshadowed by Rani Mukherjee) Don (Overshadowed by Zeenat Aman) Zanjeer (Overshadowed by Pran and Jaya)
It just goes to show be Solo or Multi Starrer Amitabh Bachchan was Overshadowed easily. And this why Amitabh Bachchan Fans call him Legend.
On the other hand Dil to Pagal Hai (Shah Rukh Khan Steals the Show)
Mohabatein (Amitabh Bachchan Completely Overshadowed. Both had equal Roles, but Amitabh Bachchan got Nominations as Supporting Actor.)
Veer Zaara (VEER-ZAARA is another feather in Shah Rukh Khan well decorated cap. The actor enacts the challenging role with amazing ease, putting his best foot forward and emerging trumps. It would indeed be difficult to imagine any other actor essaying the two diverse parts. Simply unforgettable)
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (Shah Rukh Khan sparkles yet again. His character is such, you can't help but fall in love with this selfless man. And the actor performs it with amazing poise, class, honesty and maturity. His re-union with his mother and the father subsequently will prompt people to shed bucket-full of tears.)
Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (In KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA, the actors get a chance to shine and no one shines brighter than Shah Rukh Khan. Let's just state one thing here: This is Shah Rukh Khan's finest work after DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE. His sequences with Preity specifically, when the couple has their spats, or in the climax, when he just stares at Rani from inside the train, proves that he's undoubtedly the best in the business. The ferocity with which he delivers his lines and the restless energy he imparts to his character electrifies every scene that he's in.)
Kal Ho Naa Ho (One can't imagine KAL HO NAA HO without Shah Rukh Khan. The actor delivers yet another bravura performance that he can be proud of, when he looks back in life. The role gives him immense scope to exhibit a gamut of emotions and the actor carries not just his role, but the entire film on his firm shoulders.)

Mr. Ansari must be joking when he says that in Don, Zeenat Aman overshadowed AB. It is one of the biggest jokes I have ever heard.
I agree with him only in the case of Shakti, where, no doubt, AB was overshadowed. But, then, there was the brilliant and irrestible Dilip Kumar.
It clearly appears that Mr. Ansari is bent upon proving srk a better performer than AB, without having a look at facts. I have no problems with his personal opinions. I have got my own opinions.
The world knows who is the best. I don't have to say anything.

plz mr ansari...u must be out of ur mind.... I'm an ardent SRK fan but u have written rubbish about Mr. bachchan which no movie viewer will ever accept... His performances in deewar and black are the standout points of the movie. moreover u have conveniently forgotten Agneepath- a movie in which he has received national award... Mr. Bachchan has performed all roles with perfection...i.e action roles like Deewar, trishul, don, agneepath or the romantic roles like Kabhie Kabhie, Mukaddar Ka sikandar etc... plz don't write rubbish. Even if u dont like Mr. Bachchan u have to accept that he has been the biggest star bollywood has ever seen..SRK has a long way to go before he can think of challenging the Big B.

This legend had bite the dust in ANAND also..Kaka was brilliant.. In Sholay Gabbar overshadowed everyone.. Sholay remembered for Gabbar Singh.. Whereas in Darr Shahrukh overshadowed Sunny.. Whenever Shahrukh came in Multistarrers he overshadowed everyone.. I am not against anybody but lets fare with both actors.. AB is not the only legend.. I call Dilip and Shahrukh also as legends.. and also Rajesh Khanna..

So wrong baby. SRK is no where near Rajesh Khanna, Dilip Kumar or AB. Compare his movies against Rajesh Khanna's, Dilip Kumar's and AB's. No wonder he is feeling very unsecure while Big B is giving him a very hard competition. He probably must be thinking what roles can he do when he is 50? forget to reach 65 and dance on rock n roll tune. Grow up and open you eyes and wake up from ur own creative SRK world.

Even if Big B was overshadowed in those movies. Bache bache ke naam pe ek hi naam hai "Amitabh Bachchan ki movie hai Deewar, Shakti, Zanjeer".
he(srk) is the biggest star .....no matter what u people say ... u can analyse that from amount of curiosity his message generates in rediff as compare to any body else .the amount of response his articles bring...even Bacchans ...compare it yourself ...I salute the man

Again so wrong. The curiousity in here is built by Name Bachchan (Big B). If Big B's name is not dragged then there won't be much attention to SRK's related messages. Try this experiment someday without naming Bachchan's name (including any bachchan). doodh ka doodh pani ka pani hojayega

Heyy Mr. Mukherjee let me give u a list too: Baazigar (abbas mustan) Yess Boss (kundan Shah) Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa (Kundan Shah) Pardes (Subhas Ghai) Josh (Mansoor Khan) Devdas ( Sanjay Leela Bhansali) Karan Arjun ( Rakesh Roshan) Chalte Chalte (Kundan Shah)....
the list above punctures ur claim. SRK has delivered hits with outside directors in the past and will do so in future. If the directors provide him with good script and storyline SRK will be able to deliver a hit with anyone.

SRK is feeling insecure these days because he is aging. AB has already pass through that phase and came well and doing excellent. Now no wonder he needs to follow AB's footsteps. So who's the best here. No doubt AB.
