I am a big fan of Amitabh. But I don't like the kind films he is doing now. Our directors are brainless people choosing the worst scripts to make films. Ram Gopal is another big bore. He will make 10 "different" (boring in different ways) and out of which hardly one is watchable. This idiot doesn't know that a tight script and the story is the soul of a film. Most of the times, his films will have a weak storyline and his films simply drag on. We have lost all hope from this Ram Gopal. He cannot make a good watchable film. Remember his Naach ? Gem of his fictory "James" ?
Amitabh is a good actor. He is far better than the morons like Shahrukh. But he is not the best. We will call him the best if he can match the acting capability of Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Day-Lewis, Tom Hanks, Russell Crowe, Dustin Hoffman etc.

I DOUBT IF OUR STARS AND SUPER STARS OBSERVE HOW THESE HOLYWOOD ACTORS ACT SO NATURALLY IN FILM AFTER FILMS. HERE WE SEE THE REPETITION OF SAME TYPE OF ACTING FROM ALL FOR AGES. I DO NOT BLAME THE ACTORS . OUR DIRECTORS ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS.

is not there any other film apart from DON & KANK to compare with GURU? AB is not tired of promoting his son and his films.but why he is targeting SRK? frustrated?everybody knows(www.boxoffice india.com) DON & KANK are bigger hit than GURU. AB is losing his own value by saying such rubbish. why dont he publish a full page ad in support of his son's film once again(he did it on 26th jan) stating it a bigger hit than don and kank ?poor man.

Well.. you are right. A Mature individual like AB shouldnt promote ad's like this. Definetly its not an mistake to praise his son in public... but read his conversation properly. It easily shows what comments have been made on what. AB should be mature enough to understand what roles are suited to him and his son... as he always says he is an actor but sometimes he thinks more than enough things about him. SRK is an actor as well and the competion should be always there. As SRK did he should done with statistics but not with mere comments.

No one knew name of amitabhs son when he was a kid but we all know who Aryan is..SRK is a cheap actor who has nothing special to offer.He knows he is being treated like next Bachchan so he is always trying to capitalising on that. during 70'S amitabh was competeing with starts like Dharmender,Vinod Khanna,Rajesh jhanna,Dilip Kumar and he managed to side line all of them. Its sad SRK is facing competetion from likes of Abhishek and Hritik.. SRK is just famous coz our country is filled will brainless people. wHEN these teenagers grow up they will realise how foolish they were to follow srk..In his peak he has givin the following flops

AB Fans: Words speak MUCH MUCH louder than ACTION . WORDS bole to%u2026their fingers are fastest in sending SMS and Opinions in rediff etc. eulogizing AB and his baby and running down SRK with the foulest of language. ACTION bole to%u2026Their wallets slowest when it comes to spending money to buy tickets of their idol%u2019s films: result? : babul, sarkar, ankhen, virudh, khakee, darna zaroori hai, dil jo bhi kahe, ek ajnabee, waqt, kyu ho gayaa na, family, eklavya and now nishabd , all fallen like 9 pins practically on day of release itself. flops on the pipeline are: rgv%u2019s sholay, cheeni kum and just a few more. but the good news is come 2008 and bachan will stop giving flops. this is not to say he will convert them to hits. ok let me demystify this. by 2008 all of bachan%u2019s producers will have gone bankrupt. so he will have no takers. so no films. hence no hits. no flops !!! his only hit will be partner amar singh, who himself would have taken a bad hit by the outcome of the u.p elections and his party%u2019s rout, his bade bhaiyya%u2019s lies about the progressive uttam pradesh on tv notwithstanding !! .
SRK Fans: Don%u2019t bother sending SMS , or sending reviews / opinions praising him or bothering to run down his principal rivals the 2 ABs ( Amar Bhakt and Amar Bhakt Jr.) They show their love, support and respect for their Megastar King Khan by buying tickets and making his films Super Duper Blockbuster Hits ( Devdas, Chalte-Chalte, Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Hoon Na, Veer-Zaara, KANK and Don and now eagerly awaiting Chak De India and Happy New Year) .
The true test of a filmstar%u2019s popularity is not how good he is in a well crafted , tightly scripted, well packaged film. Case in point: Guru., which would run irrespective of whether or not Amar Bhakt Jr. is lead star or not. A badly directed and loosely scripted DON on the other hand becomes a runaway hit solely on the back of SRK%u2019s electrifying presence. His Sheer magic sustained the film. One can well imagine what a superhit an SRK led Guru would have been instead of the mild hit that it is now. Conversely Amar Bhakt Jr. in DON and the film would have collapsed like a pack of cards on very first show. .
But I suspect AB fans will not learn in a hurry. Their priorities are clear. Keep praising AB and his baby to high heavens (but not patronize their films which matters most ) and keep Lashing out at SRK with max poison and choicest gaalis ) . Koi Gal nahin likhne me hi LAGE Raho, while SRK fans will quietly patronize their idol%u2019s films and make them Superhits%u2026and oh all you KBC III Doomsdayers%u2026SRK%u2019s SUPERBLY PRESENTED show has got off to a flyer%u2026watch this space closely.. as in the coming weeks its TRP Ratings whiz past that of his (Hyper Hyped) predecessor. !!
Two of the best things about SRK is : First he made it on his own steam. He wasn%u2019t from a filmy background. No Godfather nothing ! Unlike Bachchan who got a foothold on the industry only through the late PM Indira Gandhi%u2019s recommendation. Sad that he has dumped the same family, attacked them and joined forces with scums of the earth like Amar Singh today !

For amitabh fans, Ab has been there for almost 40 years and he has seen everything....proved everything....many new copycats are still dreaming of breaking his records....he gave 8 superhits in one year....a feat which is still unmatched....so we are not dying for his box-office success.. we want good work and we are getting it..thats it. and remember he became very popular without media as he banned media for 12 years when he was at his peak. and if u think he got opportunities bcoz of indira gandhi then go and get a break......he got one national ward for frst film and one filmfare award for second film....thats why he got chances.....as far as DON is concerned. if it was not compared to real DON it woud have been commercial failure. u touch anything of AB's golden years and it wud turn in to gold...bhains ke age been bajane se koi fayeda nahin
This is nothing new. It happened in USA as well . Its just this crappy industry is maturing. in 1915 there was a movie called birth of a Nation and its regarded as the most controversial movies of Hollywood . This movie created riots in Boston, Philadelphia and other major cities, and the film was denied release in Chicago, Ohio, Denver, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Minneapolis. This movie was liked by president Wilson. so I guess its just matter of time people will understand and one day India will be just like USA. I beleive there is nothing called culture and culture just ties down a person with rules and regulations. every person should have right to express and people who dont wana watch it just dont watch ..

Yes Ramu "didnt do tht", he chickened out didn't he. Just because one theme goes all the way and the other bottles out does not make it any better! You are an ignorant person calling someone gay. Yes be critical but there are more constructive ways of doing that. I loved KANK. It showed a reality which you can ignore or pretend does not happen. I do not approve of adultery but it happens and KJ showed one take on it. It was brave of him because a lot of money was riding on the film. It may not have been a universal success but it was watched by many people more intelligent than you!
I fail to see what was so revolutionary in it. Ram Gopal Varma refrains from explaining the kind of relationship they share. The girl was significantly sexualized in the imagery, but there was hardly any reference to it in the relationship Bachchan and the girl share in the movie. Why was Ram Gopal Varma so scared to say it, if he was trying to be so revolutionary? And it is was a kind of romantic love that he tried to show, I think he has failed miserably. There was no convincing development of this love shown in the entire movie.
And how dare some people compare this stupid movie to American Beauty. The kind of complexities captured in American Beauty are miserably lacking in this less than mediocre movie.

Very true.Even in this interview,he takes off to at a tangent to try and propmote Abhishekh and his flop Guru.And,comparing the collections to Don and KANK(Shahrukh starrers both).Now,who has a complex.
Mr Bachan i am like your acting in your all file ik: black, nishabd, khaki etc. and just because of you & some other people in the film industry we able to watch good and diffrent movie other wise we have to tolarate same story line movie & same acting who doing for last 15 years. thankx for you & some good directors.
