For amitabh fans, Ab has been there for almost 40 years and he has seen everything....proved everything....many new copycats are still dreaming of breaking his records....he gave 8 superhits in one year....a feat which is still unmatched....so we are not dying for his box-office success.. we want good work and we are getting it..thats it. and remember he became very popular without media as he banned media for 12 years when he was at his peak. and if u think he got opportunities bcoz of indira gandhi then go and get a break......he got one national ward for frst film and one filmfare award for second film....thats why he got chances.....as far as DON is concerned. if it was not compared to real DON it woud have been commercial failure. u touch anything of AB's golden years and it wud turn in to gold...bhains ke age been bajane se koi fayeda nahin

I feel DON would have been a far bigger hit if it was not compared to its previous version. I am an unbiased movie critic. I feel that the new DON has not got the accolades it deserved only because it was compared with the older one.

I totally agree u, Don new has not got the fame which it should have. This happen only because of Foolish critics. Don( old) second half was dull, Don (new) second half was excellent and end was Superb much more better than the old one.Music, Photography,Acting, Direction.
When the Ntional Crime Records Bureau report for 2005 when Mulayam Singh was the cm shows the statistics on every crime which Mr Bachchan defends for SP in UP as ugly and highest in UP, his blind support and patronage of his friends are in very bad taste. Mr Bachchan claimed umpteen times that he is not supporting any political party then why is this propaganda on the TV networks for a political party?. For this man who has earned so many admiration from generations and who has expressed so much modestly and gentlemenly in public then why is this compulsion to go out and do something that totally against his charecter and modesty. When Mr Bachahan time and again publicly pledged that he will not involve in politics what he thinks by involving like this openly, doing some kind of social work in UP?. Mr Bachchan ,I am a did hard fan of yours since the last 30 years. This is not expected of you at this stage of career. The public treat you as an icon. You are god to us. Please apologise to the public and stop giving political campaign to any party. Leave politics to politicos. Keep personal relationships personal. Allow us to enjoy your histrionics on the silver screen always.

i like both amitabh and srk.both have given so many hits to film industry.it is not right to compare srk with amitabh just because he is doing kbc.it is true that srk is trying to follow the path once walked by amitabh.while amitabh has always avoided to critices srk,it is srk that making comments.srk has a good talent but if he compares himself with amitabh surely he will go down.media is comparing them for sake of their own profit.today people are wise.they know where srk stands in compare to amitabh.it will be better to avoid such comarisons.in my view amitabh will be always far better than srk.contact me deepak16cs@yahoo.co.in

BETTER MAKE IT COPPER HANDSHAKE. HE ALREADY HAS ENUF GOLD TO SEE HIS NEXT 5 GENERATIONS THROUGH..lol
SRK would not have been a star till now if people did not like him. Undoubtedly, he is the baadshah of bollywood though AB had acted better roles than him. U know, bollywood never honours losers and Star would not have paid SRK double the amount paid to AB to do a KBC. Each one is good in his own arena. If AB says Ramu did a good thing by not promoting his film, then why should he promote his son? Let his son make movies and if people like him, yes they would make him the next bollywood baadshah. Till then Mr.AB, do what you are good at - acting.
