WE R SO STUPID,WE TOOK CONTROL OF PAKISTAN BUT LEFT THAT PLACE COZ USA FORCED US TO LEAVE THAT PLACE AND WE DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO HUNT FOR OUR SOLDIERS AT THAT TIME. WE HAVE NO GUTS TO FIGHT PAKISTAN SO WE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT PEACE PROCESS..STOP ALL THIS BULL SHIT AND START A PIECES PROCESS AND BREAK THAT COUNTRY INTO PIECES. I FULLY SUPPORT BAL THACKERY AND HIS IDEAS COZ THESE PEOPLE CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND PEACE. PAKISTAN IS THE MOST UNSTABLE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AS THEY NEVER COULD FORM A STABLE SITUATION IN THIER COUNTRY AND THEY NEVER WILL..WHO EVER BECOMES THE PRESIDENT OF PRIME MINISTER EITHER RESIGNES OR IS ASSASSINATED AND ONE DAY SAME THING WILL HAPPEN TO MUSHARAFF BUT STILL PAKISTAN WILL CONTINUE TO TROUBLE INDIA AS WE ARE PEOPLE OF GANDHI WHO BELEIVE IN NON VIOLENCE. THAK GOD GANDHI WAS NOT PRACTICING SUCH METHODS AGAINT GERMANS OR CHINESE ELSE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN CRUSHED LONG TIME BACK...STOP MAKING SUCH STUPID MOVIES INSTEAD MAKE A MOVIE ON AMERICAN HISTORY OR VIETNAM. SUCH MOVIES SHOW HOW THOSE PEOPLE FOUGHT AND GOT THIER RIGHTS INSTEAD OF SHOING COWARDICE OF INDIA

you see Pakistan was a part of India 60 years before and I say at some point from now again Pakistan would unite with India

like Vietnam and Germany

India was divided just like Germany as the powers do not want to create another hitler

But their efforts would last only for 62 years!

Wait for a Miracle

WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

The Partitions of Germany and Vietnam were done against the wishes of both countries. The people of both countries always longed for reunification.

Does even someone with your LIMITED knowledge of history believe that the people of Pakistan didn%u2019t want to partition India, and now want reunite with India? Did Bangladesh try to reunite with India in 1971?

Its not matter of 2 soldiers dear!!!
Comparing India with Israel is easy... But compare palestine with Pakistan.
Pakistan has army 10 times that of palestine.
Pakistan has got much advanced air crafts serving their air force and the most important thing, Pakistaan is N-powered country.
If India decides to attack Pakistaan chances are we'll win the war in a month or so, but It can not be neglected that, they are nuclear weapons, that they will definitely use on us resulting in mass destruction.
If Israel had Pakistan as his nemesis, I bet they also wouldn't have dared to go that further.
Punch bags dont hit back dear...

At least that would have saved us from the politicians who are now the onwers of our disicions, you cannot decide how to live and do the things u elect some illitrates and goondas to govern on our minds. The core issue we have been faceing since independence is Kashmir, this would have never happened had they took correct messures and not greedy ambitions. Peace is better then war bt not at the cost of selfrespect.

First of all you have to stop talking like a 10 year old kid. We are not as advanced like Israel is as compared to middle east countries. Therefore, India should not go on an allout war with Pakistan at this point of time. I understand your frustration as an Indian that we could not destroy Pakistan completely in wars. You have to put the blame solely on our Politicians since they are the ones who let down the Indian Army on all occasions. Please give respect to those who have died for us and our Country alike.

Please stop creeping about American History or Vietnam, we also got our independence due to our brave soilders they may not have dressed up in uniforms bt least they fought for us don't forget the subhash chandra boses, azads, bhagatsinghs, rajgurus, sukhdevs, subramaniambhartis, and many more like them who have been our unsung heroes. It is jst our textbooks which tells us about our peace loveing leaders n their efforts but largely ignored the warriors. We own our independence to them. As far as Pakistan is considered we can get them anytime, but war only kills innocent people ask the soilders at front even they have their families who egarly wait for their return.
Let us forget what happened in the past and look for future and first of all we need to gather courage and pick up the arms to finish the internal enemy who is more tyhretening and dangerous then the pakis. Corruption and Goondasim at every level first finish that and then see where we stand America will be left far behind as we Indians are the best in every aspect comnpared to any TOM Dick or Harry in the world. Proud to be an Indian

Most of Bose's soldiers died of STARVATION in jungle. That must have scared the British into leaving!

Mr.English, kindly go back to the pages of history and you will find that the movement taken by Bose,Azad,Bhagat Singh and many others of this kind carried a lot of significance. You can't say that just because they died in the middle of the battle of independence they are of no value. There movement had played a vital role in igniting the passion of freedom and I am not saying this, these things have been said by researchers and historians. Now its up to you, whether you want to question them or not. It is because of all these FREEDOM FIGHTERS that people like you talk all rubbish sitting before the net.Show some respect to these people they gave there life for people like you.

Don't equate Bhagat Singh with Bose. Unlike Bhagat Singh, Bose's 4000 soldiers didn't die in battle, most of them starved to death in the jungle. BRILLIANT leadership! That must have scared the English into leaving.

What kind of 'leader' goes CRAWLING to a homicidal monster like Hitler? Or did your Commie teachers in Calcutta not tell you that Bose spent ONE YEAR in Germany waiting for an audience with the Fuhrer?

Even if the Japs had won do you think they would have simply handed India to Bose? Did Bose not know of unspeakable Jap atrocities on the natives in Malaysia, China, Korea, the Philippines and Indonesia? His megalomaniacal desire for power so great that he didn't care what the Japs would do the people of India as long as he could become Fuhrer of India.

Mr Singh
I support Mr Krishnakumar in his statments. The justification is that though IIFA awards are meant for Indian films, why is it that only Hindi Movies,( their Heroes and Heroines) as compared to regional movie actors and actresses are not even invited for the show and drama abroad. Mr Mammooty( a famed and national awards winner- for those who dont know) was right in calling it a Hindi award function.People who admire regional films are known to reciprocate their feelings as they view a film due to its story line , screenplay , cinematography etc and not due to the SO CALLED HEROES and HEROINES. Hindi films dont have actors, barring a few like Naseeruddin, Amitabh, Sanjeev Kumar, Guru Dutt etc.

Mr.Kumar is pointing to the double standards in measuring the film of a certain language. He is as proud as you to be an Indian. He is also proud of Malayalam which is an Indian language for your information, and loving something Indian does not make a person anti-Indian.You should respect the diversity in this country in terms of other states and its languages, not just use words like REGIONALISM and stuff......

Till date I have not seen any Good Indian war movie.. We fought very few wars in History but we have no good stuff around. Its a shame our soldiers are still in captive as in 1971 our troups had entered pakistan and we gave away their land out of good will. Till date no politician has cared to get those soldiers back to India. We are not able to fight a tiny Pakistan and we boast of being a nuclear power. AND AM SURE THIS MOVIE IS ALL CRAP AND REDIFF GIVING STARS TO ANY CRAPPY MOVIE IS WELL KNOWN

I had promised myself that I'd never see a Hindi War Movie again. (This was after I saw LOC: JP Dutta's epic disaster about the Kargil war)

I believe a War movie should be just that..A War Movie. Period.

Adding songs and sobbing housewives and mothers tend to dilute the intensity of the story in such cases. And it would be precisely for this reason that I would give 1971 a try.

My heartfelt support to young film makers like Amrit Sagar.

Dear Sir,

When you go and see such movies there is nothing to enjoy but a tribute that you can give to our fallen heroes.

Go and read about the Battle of Chushul or Battle of Basantar or Battle of Saragarhi or about 2nd Lt. Arun Kheterpal or Captain Vikram Batra or Captain Anuj Nayyar and other fallen heroes, they all are inspiration to millions.

They'd promised their families they'd come back soon. They more than kept their word. Went as mere men. Came back as heroes. In coffins.

"THEY GAVE THEIR TODAY FOR OUR TOMORROW"

I think there is a confusion here. By no means I'm taking away anything from the heroes that u've mentioned. I was talking about the way certain director's tend to get carried away by their own ego and ultimately ends up making a mess like LOC.
