Dear Ronin, you dont understand what is globalization. That TELUGU cinema has become so big that it can offer roles to OUTSIDERS and that they are taking it because they know that will be the best thing to do.
Also i would like to take this opportunity to say some good thing about the people of Andhra.
They are very hard working, and very helpful and most importantly very open minded. I met 6 such guys in foregin land, from completly different background who had just came to know me and they trusted and helped me like i was their brother. I was from Maharashtra and they had no quams helping me whole heartly, this shows they are very open minded.
I know atleat 2 people who were able to set up their business in foreign land, when getting settled is a challenge.
I think its very rare to find all such qualities. There must be others who may not follow these qualities but i think by and large people of Andhra Pradesh are very nice.
I wish that Andhra Pradesh becomes a model for India.

I really appreciate your words for Andhra and its people. Already Hyderabad is a IT Capital of INdia beating Bangalore and Gurgaeon. With the establishment of new upcoming projects like International AirPort,FAB City & IIT , AP is going to rule India in the next 25 years.

I dont know wt problem you have in myself telling AP rule India. Its correct that AP is ruling India in terms of political situation (NTR, CB Naidu were always king makers during untied Front and NDA rulings, large proportion of congress MPs come from AP), IT Wise ( Now AP holds the 4th place in the IT Exports and most importantly there was a 50% growth in only one year in the IT exports that are coming from AP. I am sure it will take the first place in a couple of year. Bangalore sucks now). I also agree that it has some issue like Transportation, Water and electicical, but its a common scenario in most part of India. Outer Ring Road in hyderabad is one of the steps to contral traffic and solve Transportation problems, having SEZs in all over AP in small cities like kakinada, Vijayawada, guntur, vijag, Nellore was another step in de-centralizing the Power and manpower and spreading the growth all over the state.

I also live in Hyderabad. Let me assure u that in 25 years there wont be any Andhra. theres no water. no infrastructure, no adequate transport system. Only what u see are about 265 Engineering colleges churning out most rotten engineers year after year who have een working as labours in foriegn countries. It will come as a surprise to all of u that most of the IT companies and other MNCs have North Indians working for them at higher posts. Andhrites are working at the lowest post. Maximum number of AIDS cases, Maximum number of suicides in all age groups and maximum human trafficking, Dowry system, political killings etc is the actual face of Andhra. The list is endless. It may not exist till next 25 years. Year after year the water level i receeding, Rains are reducing and social secor is in shambles. God save the people of Andhra.

Mehta, Go nd see in Bihar nd UP. As per your standards, North India won't exist in next 10 years. You must be a gate keeper and office boy in MNC in hyd. U came searching for job to south, living in south and comparing with NI? What research did you do to find that NI are in higher posts? Who r u to compare South and North indians? These problems are common in India across north to south to east to west. If you can't live in andhra, go and do train robbaries and child kidnaping in North India.

Rajneesh, that was a random outburst from you and don't know why you concluded that Tthere will be no Andhra in 25 years. But it's true. Andhra has many problems as you mentioned. People must look at them critically and rectify them and not issue statements of sub-national spirit that overtakes national with words like.."AP is going to rule India in the next 25 years."

Thanks chaitanya. I love this state and Hyderabad specially. But I feel like crying when I visualise the ever growing problems and no solution forthcoming. I conclude that we have become selfish. As someone said we are looking at what the state is doing for us, and not thinking what we can give to the state. I am just a small fry in this big city. But there are people sitting at top positions(politicians not included) who can do a lot. But they are more interested in purchasing land and selling them at higher rates. Its a pity. Lets pray for the state to come out of this downslide.

Hi Rajeneesh... I will accept your words if you would have seen entire India not only Andhra. What about Chennai and Bangalore in terms of water.. There the problem is too worst and what about Bihar and UP interms of political killing? have u roamed all these places to comment about Andhra only. When u live at one place you come about the issues of that place only and the most pathetic thing is there will be no more andhra after 25 years.. First introduce your self where are you from and comment about other places.. and in IT companies most of the people are from North India is also a funny comment and u told andhra people are working in lower posts? North India is a big things.. How many states comprise of North India and you compare it with Andhra only.. I think thats the only thing you compare as each of the north indian state is uncomparable with Andhra...

Hi Vamsi, what Rajneesh (hey, I dont know this guy) has said is true... very true... I know that you TOO will agree with him... it should not matter who is speaking these words... what should matter is how "WE" react to such bad state of affairs, which has made our lives insecure & city living conditions pathetic... I guess we are closing our eyes to the ugly side of our nature, ourselves. 'What North India is' should be irrelevant to us; what should matter to us what is happening to our state (and yes, our city, Hyderabad). We should not hang onto some negative comment about us (thats you and me). Thats not what we Andhras (or Telugus as some say) are known for.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Telugu (%u0C24%u0C46%u0C32%u0C41%u0C17%u0C41) is a Dravidian language in origin, primarily spoken in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, where it is the official language. It is the Dravidian language with the largest number of speakers (including non-native speakers), the third most spoken language in India after Hindi/Urdu and Bengali and one of the twenty-three national languages of the Republic of India.[1] In addition, it is also spoken among a diaspora population in the USA, Malaysia, Mauritius, South Africa, Fiji, Réunion, Trinidad and the UK among other countries around the world. Telugu is one of the languages of Carnatic Music, the Classical music of South India. Telugu is also popularly called the Italian of the East, because spoken Telugu sounds as though every word ends in a vowel, hence giving it a mellifluous quality.

The telgus go to USA by hook or crook, do any kind of work, eat pappu, gongura, water and rice and send their hard-earned money back to Andhra-mata. Only to see it being given to beautiful Punjabi girls by their producers, politicians and actor-gods who are busy promoting their sons.

Seriously... What is wrong in eating the food you like and doing the things you like, where ever you are? The saying "Be a Roman in Rome" holds good only when you are in a common place. But within the confines of a place which you call home any human is free to do what he likes. So no harm in eating pappu or gonkura. Also sending money back is good for India (not just Andhra). So if you are living outside of India, I would suggest you send more money back. And promoting their own kin does not happen only in Andhra, Big B does it in is baritone voice, Senior Bush does it. Its a global phenomenon.

Pavan if Hindi is called Hindee you must also respond same way sanjeev would and infact amar must also criticize the same, because Hindi is our NATIONAL LANGUAGE. We do condem the worng spelling of Telugu but dont bring National sentiments down to answer the same.

Mr. Amit, get some education. There are other "National Languages" than Hindi in India. Hindi is only a "Official Language of the Union". Check what constitution says here http://www.constitution.org/cons/india/p17.html
Also check wiki which says "Neither the constitution nor the laws of India accord the status of "National Language" to any language in India[1]. Indian law states that no language will be made the National Language unless and until all the constituent states of the Union of India accept it. Out of the 28 states and 7 union territories, only 10 states and 3 union territories have Hindi as the principal official language." more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_languages_of_India
All I am trying to say is that 70% Indians do not agree yet that Hindi is the only National Language. We have 22 other "National" languages.
