Great contributor to Tamil Cinema
by Felix AruldassPushpanatha on Jun 27, 2007 10:17 AM

Jeeva sir will live forever through his cinema. His journey from a Cinematographer to a director itself is an evidence to his talent and sheer hard work. Your contribution to Indian cinema, in particular to Tamil cinema, speaks volume. Lets pray together in this moment.

Loss to Indian Cinema
by Jomesh George on Jun 27, 2007 09:42 AM

Being a camera man for Directors like Mani Ratnam and Shankar Jeeva proved that he was among the best Cinematographers in Indian Cinema. As a director also he was a huge success. His films were different and were message oriented. In the film 12B he narrates the importance of punctuality in life. Our entire life can be changed even if we miss a local bus.He will be remembered forever and a huge loss for the entire film industry.

He is one of the finest cinematographers/directors of our time. Just see the last interview he gave to indiaglitz.com.

May his soul rest in peace. May god gives strength to his family members.
