Manchu looks like a hom*se*ual!! AndhraPradesh needs to import some real actors from Tamil Nadu... No wonder SIVAJI was the biggest ever hit in AP for the year 2007!!! Try making a SIVAJI or CHANDRAMUKHI which made more money than any telugu movie ever!!! There is only ONE superstar in India....Rajni
This chimpanzee cannot be the "STAR OF DHEE"...he is a pathetic wooden faced non-actor...Dhee is a hit thanks to the brilliant comedy, screenplay and direction. even the presence of the heroine Genelia pulled in the crowds.
if not for his dad, this chap wud not even be taken as an extra!
This is a directors movie...and it will be hit with any hero...This guy has got lot of bad name in Andhra due to his stupid father Mohanbabu..He fought with Megastar Chiru verbally as his effigies got burnt by chiru fans...
Now he is taking revenge on chiru with a case on his borther. So, i think eventhough this guy acted weel he will not have any future due to his adamant Father.
When I read the heading of this article "Meet the star of Dhee" , I thought it was an interview of Srinu Vytla, i think he is the star of the movie.
and it was very cheap of Vishu to blame the director of "Asthram" for being a flop, as if he is a Super star. His dialogue delivery is just horrible. there was a dialogue in the movie Asthram where he had to say "Just 15 days" when he said that the audience in the theater laughed like anything , that happened to be a very serious dialogue and he the way he said that was just too funny. Anyway this guy better works behind the camera.
And finally, Ms. Rajamani, a little bit about your other "journalistic prowess". Shall we look at the nuances of your grammar?
Let us look at the second sentence from the beginning of your article, and the second sentence from the end:
1. "Son of veteran actor Dr M Mohan Babu, his career started on a bad note as his earlier films..."
"his career" is not the son of veteran actor Dr. Mohan Babu - he is. The sentence should have been:
"Son of veteran actor Dr M Mohan Babu, Vishnu saw his career start on a bad note as his earlier films..."
2. Now, "Watch out for the action sequences as it will be some of my best!"
This is a Do-It-Yourself. Tell us the error in this.
I have no problem with people having sad language - I have a problem when they make money out of it, as "seasoned", "professional" writers. When they make the same errors at advanced English as any ordinary person would.
And especially when the also have poor journalistic ethics.
Don't worry, we all forgive you. At least for your linguistic challenges. Next time, get your stuff proof-read.
And if you learn a little bit about journalistic ethics, I promise not to search for grammatical errors.
And yes, I agree with everyone below - Vishnu is a lousy actor.
I dislike him particularly since he owes everything he is - and everything he will be - to his dad. I am still charitable towards Uday Kiran, though he has approximately the same acting skills as Vishnu - Vishnu is an incompetent person who's becomes a hero with no real effort when there are so many talented people languishing outside the studios, just since he did not mind hanging onto his dad's coattails. He would not have cleared the audition for an audition with his own build, diction and "histrionics".
And yes, Dhee was a moderate hit despite its hero, not because of it.
