ha! for south indians it all begins & ends at rajni !! its evident that no south indian can take criticism of their works! these movies are revieved by south indians who never bad mouth their regional movies!! thus scales of a hindi film & a southern films are different! people expect just plain action & rajni style from them wheras its not so in the case of a hindi films!

Rediff is responsible for all the north south war... they either report of Rajni or Bachhans. Very rarely we get good reviews of Hindi Films and the sensless no IQ films of south get full praise... What is wrong with you guys.. you rate Hollywood films like pro and never take the responsibility to report about hindi cinema as itis something worth.
Shame on you people. I litrally prey that there should be new recruitments and redigg should hire some sensible reviewers...

I am not a movie freak and never will be, but I dont like the way you talk about south indian films as 'no IQ'. Maybe you have no idea that most good Hindi films are remakes of south indian films, including the one in the offing by Aamir Khan, a remake of 'Gajjini' a Tamil film. Granted that most 'Indian' films are senseless and commercialized, catering to a majority of audience who just want to have good time with no thoughts of rationality. The other day I saw a Hindi film which was touted as a box office success, but found that it was all hype and it was just another ordinary, run of the mill, irrational, 'non IQ' movie. The same with may south Indian movies too. Let us just appreciate good cinema from whereever it comes, be it 'north'or 'south'or movies from the west. Many movies from the west are also decidedly stupid and irrational. But there are beautiful films from there too, very much intelligently taken and a treat to watch. As rational and intelligent human beings,let us boycott any movie which makes us look like fools.

All I said was the run of the mill over acted and hammed acting and scens which are physically impossible are litrally worshiped by rediff!
....Take it this way...... when it comes to Hindi films, rediff critics just trash them all over the place and comparing all the efforts with Hollywood... here on.. they give full liberty to South films... I agree that there is verygood cinema presnet and I my self go to theater and watch Tamil and Telugu films.. but the point is why being so bised in the reviews?

if u look at the rediff reviews they are not trashing all the hindi films that come out. only some which they feel are bad get the acid treatment. As far as i know, the only south film they praised to the skies is Sivaji and thats what many northies didnt like. anyway Sivaji is an above average film where Rajini has done excellently as expected. unfortunately Jhoom... released at the same time and flopped. it was trashed deservedly by all critics. i think this is what is making u and many others think only south films are praised to the skies and hindi films arent.
