I dont know what will be the fate of this movie, although the promos and synopsis till now of the movie are very promising. But this is to all the critics of SRK who call him an over-rated actor Come on! I would just like to say that "Love Him or Hate Him----But u simply can't ignore him" and the fact is stated by this article itself, the moment it came into sight we had hoards of members of discussion board swarming into it. Whether u right good things or bad things doesn't matter but still u weren't able to ignore him. And thats what proves what SRK is.Agreed he sometimes overacts but he has given some biggest block-busters for Hindi movies and some of his performances have moved public to the core, whether its a negative role or positive role. And whatever may he might give Ads for Lux or Fairness cream but atleast doesn't claim that he is farmer. Well many call him Gay becoz of his allaince with Karan Johar but the fact is KJ was invited in one of the fat weddings of our industry but not SRK, SO who's gay and plus he is not a tail of any politician, so whatever be the fact SRK can't be ignored and the critics may scream at top of their voice but it wont affect SRK fans. Amir khan is the perfectionist. He is the true superstar. Lagaan was super hit and even to date it is celebrated and the new DVD is out also. The first movie to be put in Oscars and brought our cinema in to the global arena.
Sharukh is good no doubt but he is just too much of show off and pure Fake.
The day in some award function they made this "King Khan" it sounded like King of Donkeys. That day I felt that this guy is manipulative and self arrogant idiot.
Aamir Khan is the true super star. No one can beat Aamir Khan. Not even Sharukh.

This is the problem with our country - people keep go verbal-bashing each other, based on south and north. And it is generalised in such a way that when you speak about Tamil industry, it become whole of south. But the fact is there are other states in the southern part of india which detest mr.rajni as much as the so called north indians do. And mind you, Rajnikant is a maharashtrian, not a south indian or north indian. And coming to North India, when did Mumbai become a part of north India. Its inclined more towards south compared to North. Even the food habits in Maharashtra is closer to Southern states. Its very funny to see people from Mumbai refer themselves as north indians. In a nut shell, if you endrose a specific kind of cinema, be it genre or language, go by that.. rather than going by regional bashing. Personally I love everything about Bollywood movies, and I feel Tamil movies are crap. This is my personal opinion mainly because I cannot relate to what they talk and their emotions. And a parting note about the topic of this discussion - Mr.SRK is indeed a good actor, be it hardcore commercial or a bit arty movie.. You can condemn mannerisms, but thats part and parcel of being a star.
Sivaji the Boss Khans the beggars. Khans don't know how to impress audience. Khans only play same stupendous hero falling in love and then waste all the time after that girl. Unrealistic. Who will waste his entire life after a girl when there are more problems to life.
Sivaji goes to the realistic world and gives a message also to people who look for hope and not some stupid love story which gives nothing not even 1 days meal. Khans beggars always selling stupid dreams which are nothing but waste.

Thats why every north indian does not go to Khan's movie. His movies are for youngsters aged wont like him. We have sections of crowd of there each section has different taste. Comercial movies are targeted only at younger audience becoz thats where the success is for producers. There are quality movies also like Lagan, Black, Maine Gandhi Ko Nehi Mara. Bollywood is not just one man's game. If you dont like romantic movies then you should not go there. Its for people who love it. Specially females...they just die for him.

Sivaji will just fit a circus joker role in North, thats all i can say. I am pretty sure our actors are pretty much above that standard.
Rajani changes his spectacles with a twist and turn like a circus joker and thats acting skill... Moves a coin like hungry monger on the road side ?
Cut a bullet by thrwoing a knife into a incoing bullet ? and the list goes on...
Such skill are shown by hungry monger in small towns of North India, who with such skill try to pull crowd and show some magic and then goes around the crowd collecting pannies in dabba...that is rajinis acting skill.
Wah what a suerstar you guys have ! I guess people in OSCAR accademy award govering body does not have brain and eyes not to identify "Rajani" so far !! dude what are you talking about ? No body is caring when KHANS are departing and if they are departing no body even worries...when AB departed a decade back..there was no one in bollywood of his stare...there was sunny deol, jackie and few others and SRK broke the ice and became a megastar. Similarly there will some one else in place of SRK there are superstars already in the making who knows it might be Abhisekh or Hirthik or entirely new face. Bollywood does not just belong to a community its entire nation and talents are unlimited.
Rajani has never fallen because taste of southern people has never changed specially for movies. What your father liked you are also liking and will be same for coming generation too. But in north the whole game is changing... my father and uncles dont like the movie what i like today and i am pretty sure my younger generation wont like the movies i am liking. There are change in trend in movie making and story and so is the crowd. Director and producers are pushed to edge by viewers constantly and moves like "Krish" and "Dhoom-2" are the results. Bollywood is evolving and developing. Unlike Rajani in south, all superstars and their movies in north goes throgh lot of criticism and people accepts only qulity movie and story now a days. Yes there are audiences for masala movies also...and producer makes such movies targeting those audiences which includes rickshawala and thelawala and such for comercial gain...those movies does not appeal to m

And if we have so many talented actors in bollywood then why dont they show up? if we have started liking craps like dhoom 2, krissh, and the list goes on then there is something wrong in our understanding the cinema, krissh was mixture of hulk and minority report no body noticed it, dhoom 2 well i cant understand how those actions were possible and even all stealing scenes were so unreal. Khan has been able to entertain us for the last one and half decade, everytime we discuss tht somebody has become a new superstar and his days are numbered he rises up from the ashes like phoenix and shines . Bollywood is not just one man's show. Yes SRK is icon today but definately he is not Bollywood. There was Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Dev Anand, Amitabh then comes SRK and there many more to come....Bollywood is the entire nation and talents today are unlimited there.
If every North Indian goes to see SRK or Big B' hit movie at least 3 times..any box office record anywhere in the world will look pale. Even i have not seen many SRK's hits like KANK, KHNH, DON etc even once ! I am sure there will be millions like me out there.

U can just see Rajni's acting in the Hindi movie HUM... you'll get to know what class Hindi actors are upto. He might be a brilliant actor but where'e the universal appeal? Bollywood did not have the brains 2 decades back and it is their loss. SRK can only play hero in NRI flicks and fails mierably doing common man roles. Also he needs support from AB and other glam dolls to prop his image whereas rajni is like a lone star. Shining brightly in whatever company he is in.Just see the frenzy of his latest movie man and decie who is king.

Sir, can I ask you what is the age of Amitabh and what is the age of Jiah Khan and what they were doing in a Hindi movie...? And even worse.. few years back... Dev Anand at 80 and his heroines were actually his great grand daughters. We have seen more Tamasha in Hindi. I take pride in saying I am an Indian n hate to get inot these sort of arguement.
