So what? We like him. We like people regardless of their place of birth.
The only reason I think people from North hate Rajni and his movei Sivaji is that Rajni and his movie has generated such a craze and so much marketing and attention, the people in north are jealous that none of their actors or movies generated so much attention.

Wrong!! Its the extra hype which makes us laugh-Nobody cares a damn about him except in the southern India --mainly Tamil Nadu --he is a flop Bollywood actor.Surprisingly, Actresses like Sridevi and Jaya Prada have fared better than him in Bollywood.

AVM Studios, producers of Rajinikanth-starrer "Sivaji" have made arrangements to print 600 copies of the film for release all over the world. Of them, 350 are for Tamil Nadu, 150 for Andhra Pradesh, 75 for Kerala and 25 for Karnataka. The remaining 100 prints are for release overseas, it is learnt.
This number is unprecedented in the history of Tamil cinema. Directed by Shankar, the film featuring Shreya opposite Rajinikanth is set for release on June 15. "Sivaji" will be releasing in as many as 16 theatres in Chennai itself. They include Abirami Complex (three screens); Sathyam Cinema (two screens); with five shows every day Mayajaal will be showing the film in five screens.
According to Abirami Ramanathan, who has bought the Chennai distribution rights, talks are under way with INOX and other theatres in Chennai.
The film is releasing in a record number of theatres because the cost of production of the film has run into several crores and the producers' strategic move will enable them to recover the cost as quickly as possible, it is said.

The reason why those beautiful south actress became top heriones in bollywood is u ppl see only the skin and we ppl see the acting..Thatz the reason bollywood flop heroines like jyothika,simran are hit in south becoz for their acting.. Rajini is a flop bolywood actor.. accept.. but do u think if Big B acts in some telugu or tamil or malayalam or kannada movies that movie will be a super-duper hit.. Big B movies will be hit only in hindi ..but even a dubbed version of rajini movies like basha,padayappa,chandramukhi will be superhit in andra,karnataka,kerala and TN. Chandramukhi is a hit in kerala even though they made its orginal version... And atlast for the kind information.. its not Rajini or director shankar is creating this hype for the movie , its the rajini fans creating the hype.. Its only in bollywood the directors and actors create a hype themselves for their movies like gurinder opened ash's wax model before pride and prejudice ...

Do you know that Rajini fully compensated the distributors of Baba, when that picture did not do that well? I really cannot imagine, how humble and modest you have to be in order to call Rajini "Greedy" Hey, Why do you bother so much about the monkeys you do not accept? Is this the quality of a monkey or a man? By the bye, Rajini hails from Maharashtra and not form South India. If Monkey is your choice of word for a person coming from your region, what about you?
It seems people from north and south needs a topic to abuse each other. I guess people who are using these online forums are educated but their comments are in so bad taste. I am an Indian and I am proud of our culture. North or south east or west India is India and we need to love each other. Its a fact that Rajni is a star and he can bring masses to the movie. If Rajni is start so the Amitabh and so many others in whole India. I am proud of Delhi, Bombay, Banglore, Hyderbad, Calcutta, Madras and so many other great Indian cities. Every state, city has different flavor and uniqueness. Kerla is one of the most beatiful cities and Punjab and Rajasthan are most colorful. We all are Indians first before we are, Hindi, Tamil, Telagu, Marathi, Gujrati, Punjabi, Bengali, Malayali etc. Please dont abuse your fello Indian. You belong to a very colorful cultured country so please behave like one. Hail India. Hail one India.

June 15th is a public holiday. Mr Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India. Are you happy, Rajni Fans. Now what will a kid ask to her/his parents. I won't go to school as there is public holiday due to rajni film, sivaji...

have no doubt that each of us want to see India prosperous. To make India a developed self sufficient country we need to united on all fronts. Rajni is great, Sivaji is going to be a blockbuster. Amitabh is a versatile actor and he has entertained us since so long. It is amazing to see regional movies doing such a huge business despite their limited viewership. its all good for the country except hate messages. Please love each other United India

Hi I am also a gr8 fan of Rajini.....Amitabh is featuring in 2 out of 5 hindi movies becos there are no good actors...All the next gen heroes like Hrithik, Saif etc dont have the power to make a hindi movie run on their own accord .Also too many heroes are appearing in one single hindi movie... It is almost like a filmfare award function!There has to be an Amitabh (at least in a grand father role) to attract audiences! Its become like Kannada film industry which thrived only on account of Rajkumar!
Please sign a petition and send it to Mr. Kalama, the president to declare a public holiday on June 15th. Why? The mother of all movies, Sivaji, the boss is releasing. Please guys... don't go to work on that day or we will call it a bandh. Respect Tamils
