These movies are evergreen classics and they never grow old. Its a great thing that such classics are remade again in colour and specialy a movie like Hum Dono which has not onlygreat performance but even for its music and songs its worth watching.

dev anand was probably the first male hero who played dbl role . both roles were totally different in style . he did justice to both the roles and music -- just superb. even todays no. 1 hero SRK fav. song is from this movie . MEIN JINDAGI KA SAATH NIBHATA chALA GAYA . bcs of this song he loves smoking like DEV ANAND in movie . dev in major verma role was too good while in capt. anand he was usual dev . songs allah tero naam eashwar tero naam was too good and kabhi khud pe kabhi halat pe rona ayaa were matchless . i know very well that all age 50 will definately see it agn and agn . even young genration who will see , will watch agn for dev and evergreen songs . i will see 1`st day 1st show. positively and advise all young teenagers to see . and compare dev with new stars . even tere ghar ke saamne , jewel thief , and above all , guide , u will find how romantik and handsome this fellow was . even in jhony mera namm , when he was 48 yrs old he lookked 27-28 . tye evergreen hero of all genrerations. today at 84 he still active . god him success deep deep

evergreen dev sahib.ihave seen hum dono so many times and always cherished.maj.verma's role is top notch work by dev sahib. now in color hum dono stands tall in the leage of best of bollywood. sudhir puri pathankot
