hahahhaha....................flop pic ke liye itnee baatain maine to kabhee nahee sunee.agar tumhare kahne se koi movie flop ho jaatee hai to mare kahne se hit so main kahta hoon kee ye is dashak kee sabse badee hit hai.

factory as ramu calls his movie house produces movies without slight effort on storyline,script,songs minus a few ones like sarkar afetr a heavydose of wild movies D,naina and all scraps. y can't he be a bit original...n do somethng a bit creative than merely copying hollywood movies ..now this remake...amitabh to top it all looks like a ghost ..more than a daku hahaha

I don't think Sippys have no write to refuse on anything. Fact is there own Sholey has been copied from, not one but 3 (may be more), Hollywood films.
I suppose, when you copy from 1 film, it's copying. Do it from more than 1, it's called inspiration. Sippys have a point, I think, they are against coying???

Sholay may have been inspired by all the movies you list, but atleast the name and all the characters were original.
When you see how Varma made Sarkar, it was inspired by The Godfather, and it was pretty well made, but he didnt use the Godfather name, he changed everything. Here he was planning on using the same name and the same character names, which are all owned trademarks of the Sippys.

you are wrong..Fist full of dollar was a copy of a japanese film called Yojimbo..Sholey was inspired from Magnificent Seven and Seven Samurai's.. the films that you have mentioned were Sargio Leon's spheggeti westerners..and if any film that was a blatant copy of A few Dollars more..it was Joshiley directed by Shekhar Kapur..

u can add hindi movie MERA GAON MERA DESH also. in that movie dakus name was JABBAR SINGH . and dharmendras role was divided into TWO , AMITABH AND DHARMENDRA . deep
