Switch on any news channel..One finds Big B gloating about Abhishek's performance.Well,it just comes across as a desperate attempt to promote the film and Abhishek.
What was worse was Big B's taking potshots at other actors like SRK and Hrithik,citing that KANK and K3G were more Bachchan affairs....
Amitabh struck the right balance all these days when he was quite critical of his son,he was humility personified then.But offlate it comes as a SHOCK to see Big B reacting to ABhishek's success,making it seem as though Abhishek's success is unprecedented,and no one else have faced such a success ever before.Guru isnt a blockbuster,its ONLY a hit.Wonder what would happen if Big B reacts this way to every future HIT of Abhishek!!..Pity US!!

yaar tum logo ki problem kya hai.....overwhelmed with Abhisheks performance media went to AB to ask his opinion. And just like any other father he praised his son's performance. Whats wrong in it. Now u will teach AB (a father whether he shud make comment on his son or not) Sick people. U need some mental check. A father always want to shout on the top of the world in praise of his & want the entire world to kno what a great job his son has done. Whats a big deal in it.

I am also an BB fan but giving newspaper ads praising his son is ridiculous. Rakesh roshan only praises his son for the movies he directs and in any case they get such huge openeings that in itself explains the success of the father son jodi. But guru did not get an openeing! Moreover AB was rank bad in Dhoom 2 which by the way was shot after he completed guru. It was as if I worked hard on Guru so now I will go on a picnic to Brazil with Ash in Dhoom 2! Ana what was ridiculous was BB saying that Dhoom 2 is Abhishek's hit movie!And worse he was comparing hrithik's work in KKKG to AB's in Dhoom 2! that is what makes it all so ridiculous. Now do you find Rakesh Roshan saying such things about other actors or their sons?

One fine morning I got a message from one of my friend,one equation, Amitav(Bachchan) Jaya-talant= Abhishek
If his name would be Abhishek Something he would be thrown out of industry on 2001 or 2002.Can you imagine he got his 1st hit after 6 years in the industry.No one get such chance in bollywood's histry.Actually Bachchan and SRK can handle media well otherwise they are behind of Amir or Hrithik(I am not telling about Big B).But SRK has a good stardom.In Guru Abhishek did little bit well but after 8 years..? It is quite natural for a father to feel proud of his son but this is one of the negetive point of Big B to back his son although I am a great fan of Big B.So many times media has prooved wrong like Raina as next Beavan or Pathan as next Kapil etc.

Some times you Indian People don't know ho to respect your Heros. Abhishek is much better than Father's film wonder Hrithik. Just tell me in his
whole life of his film life How many memorable roll Hrithik did people can remember. KNPH is bello average movie and media made it big. KMG is copy of Forest Gump and ET. Then It comes Dhoom Sequel one of the hypocrisies of yash Raj.where John Abhram did much better in original than this father's film wonder. wh is ere as Abhishek gave Yuva, Sarkar and Bluff Master content wise which are memorable films.
You people are only capable to watch dancing of hrithik nothing else.

Any actor who can play a mentally challenged person as HRITIK did in KOI MIL GAYAA and do it with APLOMB...with ABSOLUTE PERFECTION can play just about ANY ROLE TO PERFECTION...Lagaan would be a cakewalk for HRITIK. And this man would have played GURU truly like a GURU...Unlike your MILKSHAKE BACHCHA...who really has a lottt of growing up to do... improve his convent diction and give at least a decent performance...it will be longggggggggg time before he comes even close to being a guru!!! looks like Milkshake is destined only to be a 'shishya'...that too a bad one !!! A true acting role which is a benchmark for young heroes of today is HRITIK'S KOI MIL GAYAA... which only an actor of the calibre HRITIK ROSHAN is capable of !!!

I agree with Mr Tanoy!
Hrithik can only play a Super HEro. I have nothing against him, but it is suprising with the things I hear about Abhishek.
Abhishek last 7 movies have been huge hits. Dus was popular because of him and so was Bluffmaster. Then there is Bunty or Bubly were he was hilarious. All of these movies are acting oriented movies. NOt superhero movies. I would like to see Hrithik play a true man with several emotions. Hrithiks' body and dancing is what people are impressed by. But, that's not everything. One must be a good actor first. Besides his fathers movies and doom which are all superhero stunt movies what has Hrithik given us. Abhishek is moving from strength to strength in the acting department. Let the father feel proud. PLus, nobody cares what the other father's think that's why your not hearing them say anything. It's Amitabh there after to say something about his son. Is he going to say, my son sucks . Of course not. People need to stop hating for no reason at all.

See I may not be indian but. It is not vice to speak about limitation of any country. Don't you watch holly wood movies. For That do you need to be the Citizen of USA. I am a Fan of Brazilian. Not only Bachchans Today. You spoke trash about Sourav Ganuly. Jagmohan Dalmiya is one of the greatest cricket administrators. But what your media did. You guys insulted him and replace a political Figure sharad Power. I doubut his Cricket knowledge. You should be proud that we Foreigners are proud of Amitabh Bachchan. we don't treat him as Indian Citizen only. He is the global Citizen. Abhsihek is the perfect son of a perfect father. Your Hrithik or Shahrukh will take 100 years to be another Abhishek.

mr tanoy, it is easy to say that KMG was a copy of Forest Gump and ET, but my dear friend it is not easy to act in these movie. if you understand acting thaen you should appreciate the prowess of acting deliverd by hrithik in KMG. Friend try to appreciate someone even if you dont like that person.hrithik and abhishek both are good actors but in recent times hrithik has undoubtedly overshadowed abhishek.friend this is reality. by, DEV

I don see anything wrong in big papa praising his lad, and he IS a gud actor no doubt. If not his papa, others would have praised him. We all would like to have a Papa like Big B.
As said by someone here, it is a proud moment for Mr. Bachchan after seeing his son perform so well in Guru. & its natural for any Dad, mine ur's & even we would speak about our kids success in future.
Please remember that nowadays only the people who praise themselves or promote themselves climb to the TOP. Case 1 is SRK who insists he is the Best, He is the only KHAN after Ghenghis Khan etc.When a Clown like SRK can brag why not the Bachchans who are the ROYALTY of Bollywood. Mr.Bachchan and his polished son have always been quiet and dignified but have always been sidelined for their polish.
Thats the way BIG B, speak your mind now. Anyway, Abhishek WAS AWESOME in Guru, so to hell with decency and modesty.
