here's a writer who's been hugely over-rated. The only book i found worth reading was "The Doomsday Conspiracy". - Rohan

great story teller
by sujatha priyadarshini on Feb 01, 2007 05:26 PM

He was a great story teller. i like most of his older books. the later ones were not as interesting as the early ones like Master of game or other side of midnight. My favourite is 'Windmills of God' & 'Other side of Midnight'

I remember reading his Master of the game, it was awesome...all his old timers were classics and he always has a fav lady on whom the story revolves like Rage of angels, If tomorrow comes, Bloodline etc But off late in the past few years the books were not as gripping..guess age caught on to him.Anyway some of his books were fab.

Itz really sad to here that, he is no more..
My fav. book of him is Rage of Angels.. I cant forget Michael Coretti.. Even there was a movie named RAJAVINTE MAKAN in malayam, adapted from this novel, and it was really well made one.

Very sad indeed

Sidney Sheldon was a highly underrated author. His style of writing was unique as it blended mystery, sex, business, espionage in a totally imaginative manner.

My all time favourite Sheldon book is If Tomorrow Comes, Bloodline, Rage of Angels.. But for sheer suspense, I guess, Windmills of the Gods takes the cake..

We will surely miss him.

It's a loss
by Arati on Feb 01, 2007 02:56 PM

Sidney Sheldon's books made a good read. Although I must admit that I never liked the English in his books, but I found his plots interesting. His books were not the best in language and content, but they made a fun read. His death is definitely a loss.

My favourite Sidney Sheldon books are If Tomorrow Comes and Master of the Game.. Some imagination that man had!
