It's not about jealousy or anything. It is a fact that Hrithik has done nothing in Kkrish to get the nomination. Throughout the movie he was either jumping or wearing mask, so where is the acting to get him a award. Whereas, Shiney Ahuja deserves all 2006 awards for his sterling performance in Gangster. I believe this awards are just sham, just for publicity & not for rewarding the best performance.

Ofcourse Hrithik is the best in 2006 and is the new king of box office. His movies grossed over 300 crores. Way over SRK's movies. He infact deservest to get two awards: Best Actor Best Villian

Ajay best choice to deserve the award....for Omkara & Apaharan strange hiritik got in somting like a super hero role like superman or spiderman... Even amir also best choice to

In fact we are disappointed that hrithik did not get nominated in 2 separate categories. If SRK is nominaed as best actor for KANK and villan for DOn, then Hrithik too should be nominted in 2 diff categories, so he should have got both awards. Bothy movies were blockbusters only because of him. If you grudge him his suceess, then too bad. In fact he should have got an award for Lakshya too, but he didnot get it because the movie was just an average runner...
I felt aghasted when i saw the nominations for screen. The likes of srk, amir are competeting eachother in best villain category (for which they should deservely need a nomination for best actors category), for don and fanaa respectively,which is a complete foolish part on them (screen). I think the screen is favoring hrithik 2 much. agreed he had a good year with two big hits krish and dhoom2, but certainly he was not the soul of the movie like srk and amir for don and fanaa. Nominating hrithik for dhoom2 makes me feel the ignorance of screen, they might be thinking hrithik to be the future superstar?? uhh, heard many dozens of times, couple of years. if hrithik was nominated for dhoom2, then srk should have also been nominated for kank(which he shouldn\'t be), but to speak the truth this year\'s best performance was of course from SRK for DON, though let the fate of movie n comparisions with Big B be kept apart, both r superstars on their own. But, SRK truly is the best actor for 2006 for DON, because he is the DON for the newer generation n of course whatever the film\'s fate is(itz a big hit, see its collections n u\'ll knw), itz jst because of srk. so think abt tht...

Ofcourse Hrithik is the best. I really dont understand your problem. Hrithik has turned to above average movies into huge blockbusters? Are you in hibernation?
I pray to god neither kareena nor bipasha would win the award. They sucks at acting. Sucks.I would go for Amir Khan, a very good actor so far in indian cinema, hrithik roshan could win because he has improved too according to the time.Best of luck to these two. And hope ayesha to win. she is atleast better better than other twos.
