Everyone should not forget classic Nayagan movie made in Tamil cinema which is referred as KOLLYWOOD ! Tamil cinema fast evolving to be great cinema in Indian cinema. Im sure Mr.Kamal's DASAVARATHAM will bag OSCAR award !

Im saying this because some members here give credit to Hindi,Bengali films only. Do not try to forget great films made in South India !

Go Go Mr.Kamal Hassan ! The only Universal Hero who can do 10 ROLES in single film ! Dasavaratham will surely sent to Oscar 2008 to represent Indian Cinema !

I copmpletely agree, that the quality of movies made in south is very good and overall better than hindi movies, but while accusing others of ignoring the movies from south, do fans from souht give time or bother to watch movies in other languages?? And while critizing, they are also blind to a lot of crap movies made by the directors in south( Vijay movies, Vijaykanth) just like the crap made by SRK and Karan Johar, though I would agree, any crap is much much much better than this SRK Karan Johar crap. I like Kamal and few others acting, but I don't think movie fans from south should be so parochial in analysing other movies. Don't jump to conclusion. There are some good hindi movies too. And don't jump on this kamal haasan bandwagon all the time.

Yes your are right.Though I dont understand a single SouthIndian language,I do appreciate that the technicians and actors down South are equally good as their counterparts elsewhere in India.I will also root for Kamal Haasan no matter he gets nominated from Kolly,Bolly,Tolly, Molly or any wood as long as its from India

Rediff has given so much coverage to water, but i wonder why hasnt rediff given equal coverage to black friday which is actually a better made film than water.

Hi Jerome,
Who cares about the bloody award show dude? we indians are bothered with whats happening right here in our country.
Hence Ankush and Ajith are absolutely right when they condemn rediff;s double standards.

Okay so much for setting the wire on fire. Now if water is so blatantly against Hindu belief system, would you all guys lobby to prevent it's screen in Indian Cities. We know someone got the "Da Vinci Code" banned. So can Hindus rise up and vociferously appeal for a ban on the screenings. We all know hindu bashing is a fad but then the question is how do we kick the missionaries in their ass. We should and they deserve it and in fact anyone else who supports them in their perverted and demented activities in India. Throw these pieces of garbage out. I still failto understand how did we allow so many leeches in the first place to feast on our being. Hats off to Hindus. Pathetic and Lost usual
