RIGHT!!! UR AND MY VIEWS MATCHES. HRITHIK ROSHAN WAS JUST MISFIT FOR THE AWARD FOR THAT STUPID MOVIE DHOOM 2. FILMFARE AWARD STANDARD HAD BECOME VERY LOW THESE DAYS AND PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY FOR OSCARS...SHAME!!
Finally Scorcese has got it. Not that it made any difference to his credentials as one of the greatest film makers! But I am glad the Academy had the honour of acknowledging his greatness! Long live the king!

No they do matter to some. Who are you to speak for all Indians? What next? Will you say the Olympics doesn't matter to us coz we have national events?
I think water should have won the oscar's this time. Oscar jury r neglecting films from east. It is just like any other bollywood film award ceremony. ;-(

bollywood director has to born million times to be as great as Clint Eastwood, Steven Spelberg, Martin Scorsese, James Cameroon , Alfred Hithcock, Jeneheckman, Mel Gibson and the list go on and on and on..Bollywood is all bakwas..

DISAGREE. Maybe you watched the 'Mission Impossible' kinda movies and think thats all there is to HollyWood. We have good movies and Actors, but honestly I think on average we are not even close.

You should first watch hollywood movies and i bet you will not even like to spit on hindi movie..
