We saw the movie last night and really liked it. Its a lighthearted entertaining movie. I loved the dance by Abhay Deol and Minissha Lamba. I dont know what state of mind the reviewer saw the movie. But everyone in the theatre had fun when we watched it.
rediff rating ws really hard to digest...certainly deserves way more thn one nd a half star that this movie got... this ws one movie in last couple of days that managed to bring smile on faces of the movie goers. seems that rediff cant take light, fun filled humour...nd compares evry othr movie wid lagey raho...or munna bhai. Developmnt of characters ws not optimum..but they did better in 2 hrs than wht salaam-e-ishk cud nt do in more than wht seemed eternity...even thgh this movie didnt hd formidable star cast. Moreover does a parsi couple always need to utter words like 'dhikra' in evry second statemnt nd wear some white kurta with black cap to prove that they are parsi...same for gujrati couple...cmon guys its hard to decipher ppl based on thr dressing these days...whn almost all are wearing same kinda casuals....nd mind you...this was a film about average honeymoon goers of 20-30 age bracket(apart from boman nd shabana offcourse) nd not a costume drama..whr u cud find ppl dressed up based upon thr regionality. definitely a one time watchable movie!!
i think, the 1.5 rating given to honeymoon travels is way too high !!!! only after the interval one comes to know that it is not "goa-tourism video" but a movie for which you have already paid !!!!!
the conclusion, one can draw from the movie is to go goa...... GO GOA...

I truely agree...bakwas movie..ADVICE-Do not waste money for multiplex..atleast!! Donate to CRY..Instead...
In the 2 hours of the movie with some songs and dance especially the one in which Kay Kay dances and the Abhay Minisha cameo I think the director has come out well in beutifully portraying the couples.
I agree with one point though that Goa could have been depicted better but nevertheless I shall say that its a movie worth 2 watch for something different.
Although the name "Honeymoon..." misleads you to think that there will be more intimacy in the scenes, I felt the romance and feelings were portrayed in a convincing manner.
I shall surely give the movie a 3 star. Its a different topic and a out of the way movie.
movie is ok ok.. atleast better than salaam-e-ishq where the story outline was more or less same. Also 2 hour movies are now picking in India which is a good sign for Bollywood.
We all freinds saw this movie in London......and honestly a very entertaining movie......probably agree with the rediff review to some extent.....that it does not help to devlop the charecters very well......but disagree with its ratings.....i think it is a must see movie
I beg to differ with the review..saw the movie y'day n it's a pleasant feel good movie..n the superman angle is just to prove a point that "perfect" relationships exist only in fantasy..
