Well said dude! Ekta really needs lot of flowers.. she needs to get well soon!! In the name of family soaps, all she does is bring dirty politics n plenty of extramarital affairs in families and makes wicked women all the time! Thrree roses for EKTA KAPOOR

First episode..not up to the mark
by Pratibha Kuncholikar on Feb 12, 2007 01:47 PM  | Hide replies

I'm really disappointed with the first episode of KC. I like this serial in my childhood and never missed a single episode ( I had to knock the doors in the late night to watch KC). When i heard that KC is starting again i was too happy and have been waiting for this since 1 month. It was not too gud if we compared with other detective serial CID. Hope the next episodes will work.. ( It's always better than Saas - bahus..PAK gaye saala wohi dekh dekh ke)

Kya baat hai :) ... Ladies are opposing Ekta's serials ... Good for us .. saala sahi me pak gaye hai wo bhi bina dekhe ...Hum swarg sidhar jayenge lekin ye serials khatm nahi honge .. We must SUE them for creating emotional pollution.. they are eevn more hazardious than environment pollution ..
Isme KC ki galti nahi .. actually KC banne ke baad uske jaise bahut saare copy cat aa gaye hai .. so we are not able to make out significant difference ... I always appreciated Pankaj Kapoor for his multidimentinal capabilities .. I am very much sure sooner or later it will pick up pace ...
NEEM, TULSI ki aadat dal gayi hai .. so iski bhi dalegi ...look act his performance not the story .. story sab me same hoga ...THANK GOD .. At least we have a choice at least of getting less bored...
:)

i have not seen the first episode, but i am sure whatever it is, it should still be much much better than ektas serials, where is the moral police now, they stage dharnas on valentine day, and why are they quiet when u see one person marrying one for some episodes, then another, then again the first one, what is going on. Is this not destroying our values.

Karamchand should be much much much better than all that crap

Ma'm totally agree !!! 100% marks to your comments .. enuf of monopoly ... give us a break .. Atleast Karamchand shows enemy can be anywhere and TRUTH wins. Unlike Ekta's typo serials where no one knows when GOOD is Going to win over BAD, and Enemy is inevitably your closest one ... mother, bhabhi, Sister, Father .. I am afraid of my family members now :)

this is not fair...karamchand can stage a comeback even after twenty years and not be replaced by a younger actor while his female assitant has to be young...i never expected this highly intelligent team to endorse male chauvinism.

zohra.

ahh the good old days......
by Vishal Vora on Feb 12, 2007 01:04 PM

karamchand, nukkad, yeh jo hai zindagi....these were all classics....and should be kept that way. Imagine YJHZ today with the same cast(minus the late Shafi Inamdar)....the magic would definitely have been missing. I would have been happier with reruns of KC.....

TV media is spoiling the new generation
by msjd baig on Feb 12, 2007 12:51 PM  | Hide replies

Now-a-days these saas-bahus serials are damaging the social and cultural human values in the families of indian society. These serials are giving birth to new illegal, unlawful and unacceptable relations specially those Ekta kapoor's serials. These serials are misguiding not only family elders but putting an adverse impact on the young mindsets of the childrens. These theatre people found a new way of earning money and we viewers are supporting them by watching their idiotic dramas. In my perspective it is complete non-sense and waste of our valuable time. Serials like panchtantre and malgudi days,KC were ever best, people must watch serials which are getting telecast through our Indian capital Delhi not through any state biased serials, now-a-days most of these are getting telecast through Maharashtra i.e.Mumbai and these Mumbai based serials are spoiling the mind of whole Indian people. It is my request to all the Indian citizens and to the indian government to ban such serials and bring back the golden period of those 80's.

pankaj kapur and all his fellow actors, directors, etc are based in Maharashtra, ie Mumbai...what is based in Delhi is that stupid NDTV, Aaj Tak and their clones.....please do not make this a Mumbai vs. Rest of the country issue.

Well said Mr.Baig. I fully endorse your views. Its ironical when these serials with non-sensical values nowadays are being watched by people supposed to be well educated whereas the golden period of 80's were seen by all walks of people when the education level of people was not so high.It gives though to the point that the real value of education lies not in just making money but understanding what is right and what is wrong.TV as a means of entertainment has sadly become the ruler in the evenings so much so one's dinner gets delayed whereas in the golden days with not so much serials going around a few but quality wise good ones made good enjoyment with the dinner on time. Taking nothing away from those golden serials why not serials nowadays concentrate on ways to improve the society, intellectual values rather than serials highlighting domestic violences. Rightfully the Idiot-Box is in action with idiotic thoughts. Nowadays pastime hobbies are taken over by TV serials not worth watching. Animal Planet and NGC make better viewing with something useful in terms of knowledge.

This Ekta Kapoor's Bahu marry 4-5 times in year or two , where is the Indian culture in it? I think Social Police should act on such kind Adultery. Shame on you Ekta, you are abusing the culture

let down
by Amit Gaikwad on Feb 12, 2007 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

Indian Detective Shows are nothing as compared to US shows. Its a fact and not abt India Vs USA. They have serials like CSI - an innovative, new type of crime drama because the characters use cutting edge forensic tools to examine the evidence to solve the case, Bones - use end clues left behind in a victim's bones, Criminal Minds - an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds and anticipate their next moves before they strike again. INDIAN TV INDUSTRY NEEDS A MAJOR RESTRUCTURING IN ALL DEPARTMENTS. We need more variety and not just crapy saans-bahu dramas and cheap reality shows imported from foreign.

Content writers must have the knowledge of the subject
by vikram baheti on Feb 12, 2007 11:58 AM

Unfortunately to become a critic you need to understand the undertone of the subject. And more so when someone steps too fast to make a comparison between quality(KARAMCHAND) and crap(SAANS-BAHU, not the relation, the so-called serial)

Well i hope the critic will help himself/herself next time before taking any subject.
