TO RAJNEESH MEHTA I agree army is selling liquour because the salary of army personal is too low for his basic needs. He commits sucide because even then they are frustrated. Have you seen policemen committing sucide or neta, or IAS committing sucide. NO they do not because they get crores of rupees by looting you and me. But army man cannot do that. You said fake encounters: Read news carefully. It is JK police and not ARMY that has been found guilty. Only police like bombay police has encounter specialists.
Now consider if Army becomes corrupt. 1. They can sell a well armed T-72 in delhi. Entire police force of delhi will not be able to stop a single armed tank. But they do not do that. Give the tank to neta, IAS or pandu and rest assured next day terrorists will have it. 2. Imagine a pilot of IAF takes of in Su-30MKI well armed on a routine patrol and destroys the parliament, rastrapati bhawan, Cannought place etc. What can police do to stop that. Pakistan will pay billions for such sucidal event to the family of pilot. 3. Now try to imagine if AGNI, PRITHVI armed with only conventional explosive falls on Taj Mahal, or parliament.
Army people are patriots who inspite of the extreme provocation of poverty and hunger coupled with extraordinary amount of money that pakistan is ready to give still do not commit any treachery.
All army people involved in tehelka bribe scam were court martialled. Can you name even one of the civilians IAS or Neta who was even put on trial. This shows Army still is very strict and does not tolerate any corruption among its rank.
Yes there are black sheep and they will always remain but corruption is always judged in relative terms. IAS, IPS and Neta are corrupt 99.999% and in comparison Army is corrupt 1%. So effectively Army is corruption free.
I have not talked about the possibility of Army men giving Atomic bombs to JeM, LeT and rest of the terror machine. OPEN LETTER TO RAJNEESH MEHTA If you want to know what army corrupt army can do then look at pakistan. No one can fight army they can control, and enslave every one if they want to. I cannot even contemplate what will happen So stop calling army corrupt and SHUT THE F***up

Amar,Amiabh,Abhishek and Aishwarya, They seem to be getting all the attention of the media. dont u guys have anything better to write. there are other more imp. things happening in this country. Who cares who is gifting what to whom or who is getting married. many soldiers die every day at LOC protecting this country. They hardly get 2 minutes of air time and a person who buys a car worth crores of rupees and does nothing for the country gets all the attention. there are other pple who are real heros. start giving them the due respect and attention
What a stupid gift! Amitabh made his crores by "championing" the common man. What is he doing with his crores, how many Bentleys he will buy? How about taking a cue from the likes of Bill Gates, Ted Turner and Warren Buffet and doing something concrete for the poor in India, with rural education, health care and fighting corruption? Ofcourse, this applies not just to Bachchan but all other crorepatis in India.
In our culture, Naach gaane karne waale never took center stage as they have done in current time. The newspapers are filled with information about actors and their acts, which are usually disgusting and highly mundane.
Instead of cautiously pour respect and honour to those who deserve, our foolish and gullible society just look at a lone parameter called wealth and if you have enough, you become a celebrity.
Knowledge has taken a backseat. It is to the extent that even how much you know is evaluated entirely from how much you earn...

I wish, someone explains to that pahalwan bloke, Mulayam that all these things are going to cost him and his party dearly at the hustings in UP. Had lot of regard for Amitabh but that has almost worn away. Though, it seems that Amar singh, the dalal, Anil Ambani & Subrata Roy must have bailed out Amitabh from his ABCL problems, Amitabh will be so dumb is really unfortunate. This will not lead hi anywhere and the reverence of an Indian towards him will simply evaporate.
May God, good sense prevail to this group of brokers, Amitabh included.
