If stars estimate the quality of movie I would give this movie an entire universe. It scares you,makes u hate the director for those spooky scenes and gives u a reason to curse your friend who asked u to accompany him to watch this movie but the movie completely serves its purpose.The purpose of scaring you. Boys can take their girlfriends for this movie as they will jump on u as mutated humans appear on screen suddenly.

I agree with you. Don't know what was the maker of the movie thinking but it made me wondering about side effects of various vaccines available.
I watched this movie last night and i was commenting to my friend that after long time a quality movie. My brother had just arrived from US and watched with me. He commented that for this movie two streets were shut for 2 weeks and Smith apologized to the NY people on the movie preview. It was well picturized and i accept it the ending could have been a little better, but at the end worth spending for this LEGEND
Its not emma thomson who finds the starnd of virus which cures cancer, but a scientist called Krippin... Hence the name KV is given to the virus in the movie... KV being Krippin virus...
The critic must have missed the first part of the movie....

OH MY GOD !!! Emma Thompson plays the role of Krippin..... thats y her name is in brackets..... dont blame the writer
man, i watched the hindi version 'Zinda hoo my'. I expected the movie to be Will Smith style. Never ever watch the regional verions of hollywood flicks.
according to the movie will smith survived 3 years alone. 1)didnt in any of the three years there wasnt a day that the sun had not been up in the sky because of rain or thundershowers. 2)when the infected zombie dogs came after will smith y didnt the people who had let off the dogs come out the sun had already gone down. 3)will smith was transmitting his messages in radio in all frequencies how come the people surving in the safe zone didnt hear doesnt any one of them have a radio. 4)The movie shows rats that are infected in will smiths basement how is that there are no rats in his house to infect him and his dog. 5)The zombies are said to have followd will smith to his house when he was brought by the actress then y didnt they attackk the same day and wait for the next day....? 6)what did will expect by giving his blood to the actress does he expect that some other brilliant scientist will wi=ork on the medicine. 7)ideally as will knows the cure he should have lived.
overall the movie is good but dissapoints with its ending a gud one to get 3 1/2 stars.

I think he gave the blood of cured girl which was to be used for curing others and not his blood.

1. First point is valid, and maybe Will Smith has taken that into account and not ventured out during snow and rain. That part is not shown. Besides he has a huge stock of food for himself. 2. When the infected zombie dogs came after will smith, if you observed carefully, the sun had not yet set completely, that is why the men did not come. As mentioned by Will Smith, Male human have low tolerance to the sun and one of them in the beginning died when he pushed will smith out. 3. He transmits his messages in AM radio, plus people are in Vermont, they are already safe and secure. Why would they want to go out travel from the Mountain Zone to the East Coast, risk their lives when they already have food, shelter, and security. 4. He may have collected the rats as samples outside of his house and locked them up. He cannot be infected and his dog cannot be infected by the rats, they can only be infected by infected humans or dog bites. Rats have airborne infection. 5. They didn't attack the chick as she blinded them with some kind of light, maybe UV ray torch the one that Will Smith uses on the female speciemen. Then it is almost daybreak besides she drives him in his car. It does take some time for them to figure out where they live... 6. Of course if there are people in safe zone there would be scientists or people from military. Besides humans learnt a lot by themselves 7. He should have lived but all would have died if he would not have killed them by grenade

A word of advise, DONT TAKE ALL OF THE MOVIES SO SERIOUSLY, HAVE FUN WITH EM FOR THE MOMENT
The zombies in the movie are said to b brain dead, yet they are shown intelligent enough to set a trap for Will smith. How are they so athletic that they jump off roof, dodge bullets and even organise an attack. ...Did the virus made them intelligent and athletic.

achyut if u see the muvi u will realise will smith stating in his conversation " he found one of the affected coming in the sun lights which for him was a new improvement" u need to watch it very soundly to raise ur critics.... i found the movi one of the best from will smith better then i robot, badboys, men in black......

The zombies are not completely brain dead yet. They have some level of intelligence or instinct left in them. How else would they know to survive for this long without proper food or with sunshine against them..... They get their power from the virus. More than the zombies its the virus that is intelligent and uses zombies only as a body....
