Mammootty acted in dhartiputra, what a blockbuster movie it was. Hey Sanu don't be excited, it was a disaster. They are good star. But don't get mess with the bollywwod star.

It is Shah Rukh Khan who is giving hits after hits. Shah Rukh Should be awarded National Award for Chak De India and Chak De should be sent to Oscars. We will win.
I saw this movie on Thursday Night here in Dubai & I totally agree with Raja's view points. Saajid indeed has messed it up completely. Story line is not synchronized any point of time. Suddenly, movie becomes too serious & boring. Then again it tries to attempt some fun. Lots of patches makes you wonder what's exactly happening & when it would end & how it would end.
Akki is as usual doing great to salvage to some extent. Music is a big disaapointment from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Raja - Understand you have given a very strict review..of the movie. I have not read your other reviews I do not know what your balance is. But your review clearly points at serious movie watchers (like me) and I liked your opinion. But front benchers are sure to lap it up. I just Taran in video review of this movie. Either he is bought off or he is a freaking dork. my 2 cents - provide a line on the movies fate at the box office - that will keep your detractors far away...Ash NJ USA. Rediff should block all hate responses ...people should learn how to voice their opinions.

Read re-reviews in Upperstall.com; You will know the difference between a smell and a stink. It will help you understand where you stand. Raja Sen, has reviewed the movie as it should be reviewed. He has not provided any advice on whether one should watch it or not. And I totally agree with him Sajid is a good director, but is very focused on delivering a hit getting a massy. India has come a long long way. I wish it drags people along.
I think raja sen is crazy, he should resign from this job as he does not know what entertainment is. We are not here to judge whether the movie could copy another, or whether one scene is too many. Bottom line, heyy baby is truly a hilarious comedy and deserves top rating on the charts, I guess time will tell. Raja Sen, better find another a job

if you aren't bothered abt the content but solely want to get 'entertained'....goto a circus. it is because of dumbheads that the whole film industry is becoming garbage...it is tough to believe that movies like 'mother india' and 'do bigha zamin' was made by the same industry.
Dear Raja, If you have just landed from Hollywood then your review makes sense else its truly a good movie for Bollywood. Clearly your reviewa are wrong. I would fire you if I were your boss.

Abe bandar , raja kya tera madari hai jaise damroo bajata hai waise gulati marta hai, stp ur bullshit commments . hey baby is a really entertaning movie. lagta hai tu zindagi se udhas ho gaya hai. raja se kela mangle.
When one sits on the fence and analyzes movies, passing scathing and acidic comments on all and sundry, be it films or those associated with it, the same people you'd targeted are bound to examine your film with a magnifying glass, when they get an opportunity.
Sajid Khan is known for his funny-n-witty repartees and in his first major project Heyy Babyy, he not only merges funny situations and emotional moments with aplomb, but also makes a compelling, wholesome film.
Heyy Babyy is not completely Three Men and a Baby. Sure, you draw parallels, since both Three Men and a Baby and Heyy Babyyrevolve around a trio of confirmed bachelors, who unexpectedly discover the joys of fatherhood when a baby is left at their doorstep but the similarities end there. In fact, the promos in this case don't open the cards completely. There's more to this film than masti-mazaak and the three men chasing girls of all shapes and sizes.
Heyy Babyy also works because the script is believable and the journey from Scene A to Z is well structured. Of course, there're minor aberrations, but the finale packs in a solid punch.
Sajid Khan is a skilled storyteller. Although he's known for impromptu, funny one-liners, it's the handling of the emotional moments in the enterprise that catches you by complete surprise. Another aspect where a director makes all the difference: Akshay, Fardeen and Ritesh have been a part of comic capers in the past, but after having watched this trio
I have learned one thing in life, never trust Rediff.com movie reviews. These reviews are unbelievably biased and way off from the truth. Hey Baby is not such a bad movie after all. I agree that like most hindi movies, you should leave your brains at home and watch the movie but still it has it's moments.There are scenes that make u laugh and it has some good actors like Akshay, Vidya Balan and Boman Irani. If Partner according to Rediff was a good movie, then I don't see why Hey Baby cannot. Whether you get paid more from the film makers for favorable reviews or not is another matter.At least don't mislead readers.

I totally agree with you. Partner was complete bull shit and yet it was given 3.5 rating. And this so called "critic" thinks that this is a copy of a Hollywood flick. Then wasn't Partner an ugly copy of Hitch?
I personally felt that Hey babyy was a lot better than partner and can be well rated as one of the best comedy movies of 2007

If you think Hey baby was a good comedy flick then u are a psycho.....if Sajid khan wouldnt have made this movie & somebody else did then sajid himself would have blasted this film in his stupid shows & stage programmes...

100 % agree with you. This movie didn't deserve 1.5 star rating. I don't find a valuable reason behind being too harsh with this film. I admit that this movie is not enough strong in few scenes ( specially emotional)and some times the director loosed his grip too but still it can be watched & enjoyed one time for it's comedy and akshay's great comic timing and diolouge delivery. At one side you said partner is a good movie who is directed by a far experience director and it's frame to frame copy and at other side you try to prove a debut director totally flop who only take a basic similar idea from 'Three man and a baby' and add his own flavor to the movie. Why do you have 2 diffrent standards for almost same thing.There is no way to justify your stand if you have double standards.
